Seeing how the President of the United States is set to return to the UK for an official state visit, there’s strong speculation that she’s going to try and pull out of the meeting, but only if she can come up with a good enough excuse.
Now, whether or not that actually happens, remains to be seen, of course. But that doesn’t mean the Princess of Wales is not going to try.
As our loyal readers can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “I think Kate will announce she’s sick again so she can avoid the Trump visit. I would go as far as pretending to have the plague to get out of meeting with him and Melania.”

Another critic wrote, “I’d actually respect her for pulling the health card to get out of that visit. As long as she returns to work the following week and doesn’t use health for the rest of her life.”
But then again she needs pointers from Melania on how to avoid being seen and having no one care. Or how to get away with hating your husband.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I would do quite a lot to avoid meeting either one. Trump will probably spend most his time ignoring you or hitting on you, no in between. And Melania is so looks-focused, you know she’s a horrible combo of vapid, inane, and mean.”
