TL;DR: Canadian Y&R fans, Tuesday, November 4 delivers the miracle we’ve been waiting for—Noah Newman WAKES UP from his coma! But plot twist: he doesn’t remember anything (because of course he doesn’t). It’s soap opera chaos at its finest!

Welcome to Your Exclusive Canadian Day-Ahead Y&R Recap!

Welcome back to your Canadian day-ahead Y&R recap, where we’re living 24 hours in the future and loving every dramatic minute! Tuesday’s episode is giving us EVERYTHING—miraculous recoveries, convenient amnesia, hungover hotel breakfasts, and dead villains running nightclubs like it’s no big deal. Let’s dive into this beautiful mess!

Noah Newman Wakes Up—With The Most Convenient Amnesia Ever!

Let’s start with the good news: NOAH NEWMAN IS AWAKE! Sharon Newman visits Noah’s hospital bedside (they’ve removed his breathing tube, which is progress), and while she’s talking to him, his hand starts twitching. Sharon notices and asks if he’s waking up, and Noah manages to croak out “Mom.” Cue the waterworks!

The doctor confirms that Noah is coming out of his coma and all his vital signs and brain activity are returning to normal. Sharon is OVERJOYED, telling Noah that everyone loves him and was so worried. Noah clearly says “I love you,” and Sharon asks when his bandages will come off. Soon, apparently!

Nikki Newman and Victoria Newman arrive and find Sharon crying tears of joy in the corridor. Sharon tells them Noah woke up, and they hug it out because THIS is the good news everyone needed! Sharon admits she was terrified this would end like Cassie (oof, that reference hits different), but there’s hope now!

The ladies head into Noah’s room, and Nikki shows him a drawing that Christian (Adam’s son that Nick raises and calls his own. Remember him? Yeah, where the heck is that kid? Who is watching him while his “dad” is in Los Angeles?) made of Superman for him. It’s all very sweet and emotional… until Noah drops the bomb.

Y&R fans, we need your theories! Do you think Noah’s amnesia is real or is he protecting someone? Will Nick finally confront Matt Clark? And is Claire making a HUGE mistake trusting Holden? Email your wildest speculation to [email protected]—we’re dying to hear what you think!

Y&R Spoilers: Noah’s Convenient Memory Loss Is Peak Soap Opera

Here’s where it gets very soap opera: Noah looks at his grandmother and asks “How did I get here? Why am I in the hospital?” He DOESN’T REMEMBER ANYTHING about his accident!

Listen, we love Noah, but this is THE most convenient amnesia in soap history. He doesn’t remember being run off the road? He doesn’t remember The Shadow Room? He doesn’t remember anything suspicious about Mitch/Matt Clark? COME ON! This is either a classic case of soap amnesia or Noah is protecting someone. Either way, Nikki tells him to rest, and Victoria says Nick or Sharon will fill him in later.

Speaking of Nick—Sharon tries calling him to share the amazing news, but he doesn’t answer because he’s busy trying to track down Matt Clark. Classic timing!

Claire Newman’s Hangover Breakfast Is Absolutely ICONIC

Meanwhile, Claire Newman is having breakfast on the hotel cafe patio with Nikki and Victoria, and she’s wearing SUNGLASSES because she’s HUNGOVER from her night of vodka shots and horizontal activities with Holden Novak. Iconic behavior, truly.

Nikki passive-aggressively mentions that “alcohol can lead to regret” (OUCH, Grandma!), but Claire insists the only thing she regrets is her headache. She says she’s trying to live in the moment, and she’s made an important decision: it’s time to go home! As fun as last night was (and we ALL know what she means by “fun”), she needs to get back to her life in Genoa City.

Holden Novak wanders up to their table (because LA is apparently the size of a postage stamp), tells Nikki and Victoria he’s sorry about Noah, and Claire invites him to join them. Nikki and Victoria excuse themselves faster than you can say “we don’t trust this guy,” leaving Claire and Holden alone.

Holden gets the feeling that Nikki doesn’t like him much (YOU THINK?!), and Claire admits she’s happy with ALL the choices she made last night—”from the vodka shots to the rest of it!” Girl is NOT shy about what went down, and we’re here for this confidence!

Holden Novak Wants Claire Newman’s Future—But She Wants Audra Answers

Claire tells Holden it’s time for her to go home and get back to normal life (whatever that is). Holden asks where HE fits into the life she’s building for herself, and Claire winces because she “hasn’t got there yet.” Ouch, Holden. You just got friend-zoned after a one-night stand. That’s ROUGH.

But Holden is smooth, saying he had a wonderful time (especially last night!), and asks if she wants to do anything before she leaves. Claire wants another mountain tour AND wants to stop by The Shadow Room to thank Sienna for her hospitality.

Holden immediately figures out the REAL reason: Claire wants to pump Sienna for information about him and Audra! Claire grins and says he can tell her himself if he’d like. Holden says he’s “facing the future” (whatever that means), offers his hand, and they leave together.

Matt Clark And Sienna Are Acting REAL Suspicious

Over at The Shadow Room, “Mitch” brings his wife Sienna a coffee, and she asks why Nick called him “Matt Clark.” Mitch claims Nick must be making stuff up because he’s worried about Noah (sure, Jan). He mentions that Sienna didn’t come home last night, and she explains she crashed in her office because the club was so busy.

But here’s where it gets SKETCHY: Mitch says Sienna should tell Nick and Sharon the truth—that she doesn’t know anything about their son! Unless… she DOES know something she’s not telling him? Sienna insists she doesn’t know anything except that Noah was last seen at their club before being run off the road.

Then Mitch drops this bomb: “Maybe she’ll get her wish… I heard Noah might not make it!” Um, EXCUSE ME? That’s a WILD thing to say about someone you supposedly invited to LA to invest in a nightclub! This man is SUSPICIOUS, and Sienna looks uncomfortable as hell!

Claire And Holden’s Romantic LA Day Takes A Turn

Claire and Holden have their cute mountain rooftop moment, taking candid photos and laughing together. It’s all very rom-com until they head to The Shadow Room, where things get TENSE.

Outside the club, Holden begs Claire to let the Audra thing go—”there’s no good that can come from dredging up the past!” But Claire really wants answers. However, if it’s THAT important to him, she’ll keep her questions to herself.

Inside, Claire thanks Sienna for her hospitality, and Holden asks if Mitch is around. PLOT TWIST: Mitch walks out and greets Holden like they’re old buddies! “It’s been a long time!” he says.

Claire asks how they know Noah, and Mitch explains they met in London and he invited Noah to LA to invest in a nightclub. Then Mitch asks if Audra is “ancient history” for Holden, and Holden admits they run into her often since she lives in Genoa City.

Here’s where it gets INTERESTING: Sienna tells Claire that Kyle was there asking questions about Audra, and wonders if Claire wants that information too. Claire looks at Holden and says she doesn’t want any information—she just hopes Audra is “ancient history” for her, too!

Claire IMMEDIATELY Breaks Her Promise About Audra

Outside the club, Claire tells Holden she felt MAJOR tension between Sienna and Mitch. Holden admits they’re an unusual couple and that he’s never figured Mitch out—”he’s a bit unnerving!” Claire agrees and notes that Mitch didn’t seem to be a big fan of Holden either.

Then Claire does what we ALL knew she was going to do: she asks Holden about Audra AGAIN! She says she gets the feeling he’s hiding something “really bad” about Audra, and now is the time to come clean!

Girl, you JUST said you’d keep your questions to yourself! This lasted approximately 45 seconds! Claire insists that if they’re going to have a real friendship, it needs to be based on honesty, which means Holden needs to spill the tea about what happened with Audra!

Holden accuses her of being “obsessed with the past” instead of looking to the future. He’s not wrong, but also… WHAT IS HE HIDING?!

Nick Newman Gets SO CLOSE To Confronting Matt Clark

Back inside the club, Mitch tells Sienna she shouldn’t have mentioned Noah’s accident to Claire. He asks why she’s so on-edge, noting that HE’S always been the contact for Noah, and she doesn’t even know him that well! These two are DEFINITELY hiding something!

Outside, Nick Newman walks up and is surprised to see Claire and Holden. They explain they were just thanking Sienna, and Claire asks what Nick is doing there. Nick says he’s there to talk to Mitch, and Holden helpfully tells him Mitch is inside RIGHT NOW!

Nick is FINALLY about to confront Matt Clark when his phone rings. It’s Sharon with the news that Noah woke up! Nick tells Sharon he was just about to see Matt, but she insists he needs to get back to the hospital RIGHT AWAY.

So Nick ONCE AGAIN doesn’t get to confront Matt Clark. This man cannot catch a break! Matt Clark is out here living his best nightclub owner life while Nick keeps getting interrupted at the WORST possible moments!

This episode was an emotional rollercoaster with Noah’s miraculous recovery, Claire’s post-hookup confidence, and Matt Clark continuing to dodge accountability like a professional! We cannot WAIT to see what happens when Nick finally confronts Matt and when Noah’s memory comes back!

Drop your thoughts in the comments below! Do you think Noah’s amnesia is real? Is Holden hiding something terrible about Audra? And will Nick EVER get to confront Matt Clark face-to-face?
