Victor Newman And Adam Newman Plot The Abbott Family’s DESTRUCTION
Let’s talk about the Y&R MAIN EVENT: Victor Newman and Adam Newman are finalizing their diabolical plan to destroy the Abbott family, and it is RUTHLESS! At Newman Ranch, Victor tells Adam that Michael Baldwin has promising leads on Sienna and Mitch, and wants Michael’s legal advice regarding Cane’s AI program.
Adam reveals he just ran into Cane Ashby at Society and spent breakfast trying to convince him Victor didn’t steal his software. But here’s the weird part: Cane seemed UNBOTHERED and said losing everything would be “a chance to reset his priorities like he deserved it.” Adam thinks Cane is putting on an act and will retaliate eventually, and Victor says when that happens, he’ll “deal with him appropriately.”
Then Victor asks the CRITICAL question: Has Adam come up with a way to distract the Abbotts while he unleashes the AI on Jabot?
And Adam’s plan is DIABOLICAL! He’s going to attack through Billy Abbott! Abbott Communications has announced a new launch party with a secret investor (we all know it’s Jill Abbott, but they’re keeping it under wraps). Adam plans to figure out who the investor is and convince them it’s a waste of their money. Once the funding is pulled, he’ll drop the news on Billy AT THE LAUNCH PARTY in front of the ENTIRE WORLD!
Victor LOVES this idea—pulling the rug out from under “Billy-boy” while the rest of the Abbotts are watching! He asks what Chelsea thinks, and Adam says she’s “on board” because “it’s business,” and he’ll enjoy every moment of bringing that “idiot” down!
Then Victor delivers the CHILLING line: “While you distract them, I’ll move in for the kill on my old ‘friend,’ Jack Abbott!”

Adam Newman Taunts Cane Ashby At Society Restaurant
Earlier at Society restaurant, Adam Newman runs into Cane Ashby at the bar and TAUNTS him mercilessly! Adam asks why Cane is eating breakfast when his business is “burning down around him”—shouldn’t he be looking for who stole his software?
Cane shrugs and says they went through this yesterday: it’s VICTOR who stole the AI software. But Adam says Cane has no evidence and doesn’t know how Cane created such a huge empire, but he made a lot of enemies when he came back to Genoa City wanting to take over everyone’s companies. Adam will “sit back and eat popcorn” while he watches Cane BURN!
Cane fires back that Adam had something to do with stealing the software, but Adam just laughs. Once Cane’s billions and company are gone, he’ll have “plenty of time” to figure out who stole it! Adam recommends Cane just LEAVE TOWN since nobody wants him here—including his ex-wife and kids!
Cane says he’s HAPPY, actually. Whoever stole the software (whether Victor or not) did him a FAVOR. Maybe he had too much money and power. “What good is it to own the world if everyone despises him?” He’s grateful!
Adam says he’ll pass Cane’s “thanks” on to Victor—it’ll “warm his heart”—but maybe Cane should extend his gratitude to “some other culprit.” Then Adam leaves, nodding at Phyllis Summers as he passes her!
The SHADE between these two is absolutely DELICIOUS! But is Cane really happy about losing everything, or is he planning revenge? We’re guessing REVENGE!
Phyllis Summers Throws Herself At Cane Ashby (And He Calls Her OUT!)
After Adam leaves, Phyllis walks over and asks if Cane meant what he said—he’s not upset about losing everything? Cane says it’s his opportunity to make changes in his life, so if SHE stole his AI and gave it to Victor, she deserves his THANKS!
Phyllis insists it wasn’t her—she didn’t steal his AI software! But Cane says Victor denied it too, and his tech team is brilliant, so they’ll solve it. They’ve already found “breadcrumbs” of who broke in! Phyllis tells him to stop thinking she’s a suspect—the only thing she’s guilty of is “complete loyalty to him!”
But Cane doesn’t buy it. He says there’s something “incredible” about her: “Nobody talks a good game like she does!” He wants to know what Victor offered her—was it Arabesque? Phyllis grins and says Arabesque would be “so exciting!”
Then Cane reveals his REAL priority: he wants to make amends to his family. He wants his KIDS back, and he wants LILY WINTERS back too! Will Phyllis help him do that?
Phyllis tries to let him down gently—she understands reconnecting with his kids, but Lily is DONE with him. Her heart is “closed off!” But Cane thinks he’s made progress with Lily, and maybe if he loses everything, he’ll have another shot!
Phyllis tells him they’ll NEVER go back to the way they were, but Cane says he doesn’t want to go BACK—he wants to go FORWARD with Lily!
Then Phyllis makes her move! She tells Cane she’s trying to be his friend, and he needs to realize that what he wants might be “right in front of him.” There are women who don’t judge him for his past and see him for who he is NOW. These women “think big” like he does and let him be exactly who he is!
And Cane IMMEDIATELY calls her out: “If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you were trying to SEDUCE me!”
BUSTED! Phyllis Summers just got caught trying to throw herself at Cane Ashby, and honestly? The AUDACITY! Girl, he just told you he wants LILY back! Read the room!
Tessa Porter Decides To Divorce Mariah Copeland
In heartbreaking news, Tessa Porter tells Daniel Romalotti that she went to see Mariah Copeland at the clinic again, but Mariah refused to see her! A staff person told Tessa that Mariah instructed them not to let her in if she showed up, and she won’t take phone calls either!
Tessa is devastated. She knows Mariah is going through therapy, but Mariah has chosen to shut her out! Tessa wanted to break Mariah out of the clinic so they could heal together, but Mariah won’t cooperate. Mariah claimed she tried to kill someone, but “the only thing she actually killed was their marriage!”
Tessa makes the heartbreaking decision: if this is how Mariah wants it, it’s time to let go and move on. She thought marrying Mariah would be FOREVER, but she can’t save Mariah—she can only save herself and their daughter Aria. She doesn’t see any other choice but DIVORCE!
Daniel promises to be her friend through it and brings tissues for her to cry on his shoulder. This is absolutely DEVASTATING, and we’re heartbroken for Tessa! But honestly, if Mariah won’t even SEE her or talk to her, what else can Tessa do?!
