The Duchess of Sussex put it this way, “There’s a very, very powerful machine and it’s all about generating an income.”
“It’s not me that they are talking about, it’s some caricature they’ve had to create to get clicks. And I’m very clear on the difference between the two.”
Of course, both royal fans and critics alike certainly did have a lot to say about the matter online.
Some even commented with, “This is what happens when someone isn’t coming in with desperation to be one of the BRF. She tried. It was horrible.”
“They left. And now she has had time and distance to realize it was never about her, but about them.”
Another critic wrote, “I am not a huge Meghan fan (her show, activities and products are just not to my taste). But the way she has handled the hate has been inspiring. No wonder Harry chose her.”
“The funniest thing to me is that people say that you should support your spouse against hate and negative comments and then they trashed him and her both for him doing just that.”
