The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor’s Takedown Mission & Sally’s Shocking Betrayal Of Billy

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Wants Total Takedown - Sally Right To Betray Billy's ConfidenceThe Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was on an ominous call. Only he could hear what was being said, which was apparently interesting.

Only the viewers heard the Moustache say to himself that he’s going to take down Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and Billy-boy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in one fell swoop.

That has to mean Victor is certain he can prevent an artificial intelligence attack against Newman Enterprises and execute a plan that simultaneously drops Arabesque and Jabot.

Whether Victor intends to truly take over both companies remains to be seen. But in the meantime, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) feels hopeless.

Sally Spectra Compelled To Seek Jack Abbott’s Help

Sally loves Billy. But she just learned that he lied to her about a crucial element in Billy’s plan.

He told Sally that Jack pulled funding from Abbott Communications, which Bergman’s character refuted. So, Sally feels like she didn’t betray Billy’s trust, but that he intentionally lied to her to gain her support of his wild plan.

Going to the Abbott house was an act of desperation. But Sally felt she had no one to turn to except Jack because he is Billy’s brother. However, Jack reiterated that he’s cut Billy loose and won’t intercede after listening to Sally’s passionate details.

Billy Abbott’s Desire For Assurances Is Telling

Billy told Sally that he plans to use Cane’s AI tool purely as a threat against Victor. He doesn’t intend to use it and realizes that if he did, it would be illegal.

Sally’s conversation with Jack and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) included her raising the word illegal. Their eyebrows raised, and it halted what was already a tense relay of information.

Billy’s zeal, in wanting to gain control of Chancellor, prove his mother wrong, and get Victor, is causing him to pursue what is a reckless effort. Cane has control, and Victor’s as-yet unknown leverage stands to put Billy and Flynn’s character in submissive positions.

A telling reveal happened when Billy asked Cane to put their names on paper regarding Chancellor. Cane’s refusal implied, if not proved, that he doesn’t intend to make good on his end of their bargain and isn’t being truthful.

Victor Newman Capitulates To Billy Abbott?

Why would Victor agree, under pressure, to sign Chancellor over to Billy?

The basis of Billy’s plan involves a threat to use the AI tool to force Victor to comply. But Victor could easily contact the authorities if Billy made that demand, right?

Billy’s half-baked plot isn’t a legitimate business move. And Cane is right, Billy is thinking with emotion, which means he enters the game off-balance.

That is not a good way to launch any complex effort, especially when Victor is the takedown target. Cane might survive based on his stash of money. But Billy’s, as Sally knows.
