Tum Natakorn Ulit is a 27-year-old artist from Bangkok, Thailand, who creates powerful and deeply moving comics filled with meaningful messages. In a recent interview with Bored Panda, he shared that his comics are largely inspired by his own pain and personal experiences, serving as a way to express his emotions.
But Tum’s comics go beyond just self-expression. He hopes his work resonates with people and maybe even helps them in some way. “Helping others might just be my own excuse—this might just be my own therapy,” he reflected.
Despite their colorful appearance, Tum’s comics explore heavy themes such as heartbreak, loss, and consumerism. As an observant artist, he draws inspiration from the real world and the events happening around him. “I enjoy seeing, touching, feeling, and experiencing. I want to stay grounded and focus on the present, rather than wondering why or when something might happen,” he explained.
