1. Betsy tries to prove she’s all grown up
Betsy’s 18th birthday arrives and she returns home after being out all night. As friends and family pour some drinks and start to celebrate, Betsy raises a toast to the photo of her late mum Becky which is on the side.
Later, Betsy announces that she’s heading back out – this time to town with her mates. Lisa can’t resist raising concerns over her daughter’s hectic social life, but Betsy is annoyed and points out that she’s not a little girl anymore. Wanting to prove it, she reveals that she slept with Dylan last night.
2. Kevin returns home to a shock
Kevin returns home with Abi, Jack and Alfie following their holiday in Mallorca.
When he spots Carl working at the garage, Kevin storms over and reminds him that he was supposed to be keeping his distance from the business. Laying down the law, Kevin warns Carl to be gone by the end of the day.
3. Carl gives Brody and Dylan another job
Carl is stressed as he hasn’t managed to get the money together to meet Tracy’s blackmail demands. He gives Brody and Dylan another criminal assignment involving a stolen car.
Later, as the lads speed past in the vehicle, they attract the attention of bystander George – who quickly clocks Dylan as the driver.
4. Betsy gets a nasty shock
After her tensions at home, Betsy walks through the Weatherfield Precinct and leaves voice messages for Dylan and Lisa.
Suddenly, she’s distracted as a stolen car hits something. Startled, Betsy lets out a scream…
5. Kit starts to investigate
In the aftermath of the incident, the police launch an investigation and quickly manage to find the car.
Kit confirms that somebody torched the vehicle to cover their tracks… but who’d be so cunning?
6. George confronts Dylan
One Weatherfield resident is left seriously injured in hospital following the dramatic events surrounding the stolen car.
George takes Dylan to one side and reveals that he saw him driving the vehicle. Dylan fronts it out by claiming that George must be mistaken, but will he back off so easily?
7. Carl confesses all to Abi
Abi reconciles with Carl following their time apart, admitting that she can’t stop thinking about him. However, the moment is ruined when Carl’s phone rings and Abi spots Dylan’s name on the caller ID.
Quizzed over why he’s in contact with a local teenager, Carl admits that he recently recruited Dylan and Brody to start stealing cars for him. How will Abi respond to her secret lover’s latest criminal scheme?
8. Lily’s behaviour arouses concern
Lily complains that she has a stomach ache and needs the day off school, but David doesn’t believe her and sends her in as normal.
David fills in Sarah over the situation, explaining that Lily has been arguing with a friend over a boy and tried to skive off school for the day. Sarah starts to wonder if there’s more to it…
9. David finds a pregnancy test
David continues to inspect his bin, annoyed that the Connor-Swains next door are still using it as an overspill for their own rubbish. During the course of his snooping, David finds a pregnancy test.
Turning to Sarah to share the gossip, David suggests that the test is Betsy’s. However, his amusement turns to concern when Sarah points out that it could belong to Lily.
10. David discovers the truth about the test
After a day of mystery, David gets the answers he’s desperate for when the owner of the test comes forward.
