On Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital, Portia Robinson met Ava Jerome at the Metro Court bar and dropped the bombshell of the century. Not only is she getting divorced from Curtis Ashford, but she’s PREGNANT. And she doesn’t know if Curtis or Isaiah Gannon is the father!
Ava literally ordered another drink after hearing this news because “this discussion requires one.” SAME, Ava. SAME.
Portia admitted she slept with Isaiah, which is an “HR nightmare” since they work together at the hospital. But she doesn’t regret it because in her mind, her marriage to Curtis was already over. That’s one way to justify sleeping with a colleague, we suppose!
Now Portia is planning to keep the pregnancy a secret until she can get a paternity test after the first trimester. But there’s one HUGE problem: Jordan Ashford suspects Portia is pregnant and may have already told Curtis!
Jordan Ashford Figured It Out And Probably Told Curtis
Here’s where things get messy. Jordan Ashford—Curtis’s ex-wife who’s been having her own feelings resurface—figured out that Portia might be pregnant. And Portia is terrified that Jordan has already spilled the tea to Curtis.
Jordan has been around Portia enough to pick up on the signs. Maybe it was morning sickness, maybe it was certain behaviors, but Jordan PUT THE PIECES TOGETHER. And knowing Jordan, she probably confronted Curtis about it because she still cares about him.
Meanwhile, Curtis confided in Laura Collins that he and Portia are getting divorced, but “a new issue has emerged.” He admitted he still feels a pull toward Jordan, but if there’s a baby, he doesn’t know what it means for his future with Portia. Curtis even said he’d do whatever it takes to convince Portia to go through with the pregnancy!
Laura asked the million-dollar question: “Does that mean reconciling with Portia?” And honestly? Curtis doesn’t know. But by the end of Wednesday’s episode, Curtis showed up at Portia’s office ready to confront her. He got right to it and asked, “Are you pregnant?”

Trina Robinson Is Going To Be DEVASTATED
Portia’s biggest concern isn’t just the paternity question—it’s how TRINA will react. Portia told Ava that if Isaiah is the father, it will “devastate” her daughter. And honestly? She’s not wrong!
Trina already has complicated feelings about her parents’ divorce. Finding out her mom was sleeping with Isaiah (who Trina probably knows from the hospital) while still technically married to Curtis? That’s going to feel like a betrayal. And if Isaiah ends up being the father, Trina will have to deal with her mom having a baby with someone who isn’t her dad.
That’s why Portia came to Ava for help. She knows Trina will need support when this all comes out, and Ava is one of Trina’s closest confidantes. Ava promised she’d do anything for Trina, and that extends to Portia too. At least Portia is thinking ahead and lining up reinforcements for when the truth explodes!
But here’s the thing: Trina is SMART. She’s going to figure out the timeline. She’s going to realize her mom got pregnant while her parents were still married. And that’s going to raise a LOT of uncomfortable questions about when the affair with Isaiah actually started.
Isaiah Gannon And Portia Robinson’s Relationship Crosses So Many Lines
Let’s talk about the MASSIVE ethics violation happening here. Portia and Isaiah work together at General Hospital. They have a professional relationship. And they had sex, which created an “HR nightmare” according to Portia herself.
Workplace relationships are messy enough when they’re disclosed and approved. But a SECRET relationship between colleagues? That’s a fireable offense at most hospitals! If this gets out (and it WILL), Portia and Isaiah could both face serious professional consequences.
And it gets worse! On Wednesday’s episode, Isaiah set up a romantic evening at his cabin and was waiting for Portia to arrive. She showed up late, he pulled her in, and they kissed. This relationship is clearly still ongoing even though Portia is pregnant and doesn’t know who the father is!
By the end of the episode, Isaiah called Portia asking where she was. She claimed she had to come into the office to finish paperwork and would get back to him as soon as she could. But she hung up and Curtis appeared, demanding to know if she’s pregnant. Isaiah is going to be CRUSHED when he finds out Portia might be having Curtis’s baby!
Curtis Ashford Wants Jordan Ashford Back
Plot twist: Curtis told Laura that in a perfect world, he wants his baby…but he wants JORDAN too! Not Portia—JORDAN. His ex-wife who he divorced to marry Portia in the first place!
Curtis admitted to Laura that nothing is standing between him and Jordan anymore. But Jordan, with tears rolling down her face, told Curtis that no matter how much she wants them to try again, they CAN’T. Why? We don’t know yet, but there’s clearly something holding Jordan back from reconciling with Curtis.
So Curtis is in this impossible situation: He might be having a baby with Portia (his soon-to-be ex-wife), but he’s in love with Jordan (his OTHER ex-wife). Meanwhile, Isaiah is romantically involved with Portia and probably thinks he has a future with her. And Trina is about to find out her family is even more complicated than she thought!
This is a MESS, General Hospital. An absolutely delicious, soapy MESS!
What Happens When The Paternity Results Come In?
The big question everyone’s asking: Who’s the father—Curtis or Isaiah? The answer will change EVERYTHING.
If Curtis is the father, will he reconcile with Portia for the baby’s sake even though he wants to be with Jordan? If Isaiah is the father, will Curtis walk away and pursue Jordan guilt-free? And how will Isaiah react to suddenly becoming a father when he barely started dating Portia?
No matter who the father is, this baby is coming into one COMPLICATED family situation. And poor Trina is caught in the middle of all this adult drama. Someone get this girl a therapist because she’s going to need it!
