Talk about a hard pass, right? There’s heavy speculation on social media suggesting that Queen Camilla is in no way impressed with Melania Trump during her and Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK this week.
Queen Camilla Not Impressed With ‘Fashion Grim Reaper’ Melania Trump
That’s because she’s getting a lot of heat for a purple wide-rimmed hat that she wore at Windsor Castle while she and Donald visited with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
In one photo, some are even saying that Melania looks like the ‘fashion grim reaper’ just because you can’t see her face at all. In fact, her head is totally covered by her hat. The photo looks so awkward that even Queen Camilla looks like she doesn’t want to be there anymore.
As our loyal readers can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “Yeah, I would hardly call her fashionable. She looks like a terrifying lamp in your grandma’s house that you mistake for the grim reaper when you have to pass it at night to get to the bathroom.”
Queen Camilla Is Keeping Her Distance From Melania Trump
“It’s giving Kanye face mask vibes. You know, fashionable because someone somewhere said so, but not really.”
Another critic wrote, “She hates him, but loves the money and power. Most of her public performances have a touch of ghoulish resistance to them, reminders that she ‘doesn’t really care.’ I imagine queens in the middle ages and Renaissance doing their own version of ‘I hate this, and I want you to know.’”
And then there was this comment as well: “She always looks so uncomfortable whenever there’s a camera pointed at her, stiff body language, trying to conceal her face in any way.”
“God knows nobody else wants to do it. Marry an old man for his money, you have to earn it every day. She wears those hats so he can’t kiss her. So messed up.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more.
