It looks like Prince William might be doing some damage control over the Prince Andrew fiasco.
That’s because there’s a new report that suggests it was just King Charles who insisted that Prince Andrew lose his royal titles and his access to the Royal Lodge, when it was earlier reported that it might have been Prince William who was the one to push for the idea.
Prince William Is Doing Damage Control Over Prince Andrew
According to the Daily Mail, it is now being sid that the move was entirely King Charles’s idea, laong with his advisors, and without pressure from the government or other family members like Prince William. Or so they say, right?
Prior to when Prince Andrew released his statement about him no longer using his royal title, it seemed like Prince William was claiming credit for it. Well, now the King of England isnistgs that William had no involvement.
Of course, royal fans on both sides of the aisle certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “The truth is prob in the middle – William hates Andrew more than Charles hates his brother Andrew, and is more willing to go nuclear so encouraged his father to be more extreme. But wasn’t the only voice or the actual decision-maker.”
Another critic wrote, “Charles has never liked Andrew and that’s been known for eons. They didn’t really grow up together and Andrew is a spoiled brat and embarrassing moron.”
“His streamlining of the monarchy mostly seemed to be a way to distance Andrew.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Unpopular opinion: William was definitely one of those unnamed advisors and for sure would have had some say in the decision. Charles is owning the decision because it has to been seen to be coming from him and also to keep William’s hands clean in case it backfires.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space for more.
