Sentencing Reported By ABC
ABC’s Whit Johnson opened his report on YouTube by confirming the verdict:
A judge has just sentenced Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to four years in prison. He was found guilty over the summer on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in connection with his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and another woman, but was acquitted on more serious charges that could have sent him to prison for life.

Next, he asked for and got some feedback from what happened in the courthouse
Diddy Begged For Mercy In Court
Chief investigative correspondent Aaron Katersky described what happened inside the Manhattan courtroom. “This was a very long sentencing hearing, with Sean Combs, himself once larger than life, left begging for mercy,” he explained.
Combs reportedly stood at the defense table and told the judge he was a changed man. He apologized for his past behavior and asked to be released with time served. However, the judge denied the request, stressing that “violence against women must be met with real accountability.”
Judge Rejects 11-Year Push
Federal prosecutors originally asked for 11 years, citing Combs’ “penchant for violence and abuse.” They highlighted the infamous 2016 hotel surveillance footage showing him attacking Cassie Ventura.
Combs admitted he knew that video “intimately” and again apologized to Ventura. The judge concluded that 11 years was excessive but said four years was “just the right amount.”

The outcome revealed a lot of disappointed people online. Some folks believe the punishment was too light, while others say P Diddy’s fame and money played a role. Here are some reactions from the comments section:
It will be interesting to see what happens next, as at one stage, Deadline claimed that a pardon by President Trump wasn’t necessarily off the table for Combs. However, it seems that Combs’ legal team hasn’t requested clemency.
