TL;DR: Young and the Restless fans are exhausted by dragged-out storylines! The Aristotle Dumas story went on forever, three people died for nothing, Mariah Copeland did something bad with no consequences, and Noah Newman has been wrapped up like a mummy for weeks. All this for WHAT?! Plus, unwanted recasts and Matt Clark’s return have fans hitting the fast-forward button!
What in the serious what on Young and the Restless? Could the Aristotle Dumas story have been any longer? What about the Dumas trip from Hell in the South of France? That maze got freaking old, and three people were killed for no reason. Ongoing, Mariah Copeland did something BAD, but is barely doing anything about it. Now, Noah Newman has been wrapped up like a mummy for weeks.
All this for what on Young and the Restless??… Why??!!…
New Hires, Old Characters, & More Fast-Forward on Y&R
Now on Young and the Restless, new faces replacing old faces. Like Y&R fans have not had enough of Cane Ashby being a recast blast from the past, originally played by a more manly man than the now Billy Flynn as Cane, and with an Australian accent, Daniel Goddard. Billy Flynn is a great actor, but this recast has been nothing less than absurd.
Now, enter another Y&R blast from the past, Matt Clark, being played by Roger Howarth.
No one asked for more Matt Clark on Young and the Restless, and no one asked to look at Noah Newman dressed up as a mummy being laid up after a serious car accident for weeks, when Young and the Restless fans knew immediately Noah Newman wasn’t going to die, as his character has been recast as well.
Welcome, Lucas Adams, to Young and the Restless as the new Noah Newman.

Noah Newman Unwrapped, Next Week on Y&R
Noah Newman has some explaining to do. Yes, he’s an adult, but he made a trip to L.A. without letting his folks know. He lives in London. What in the what? Also, where is his girlfriend, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang)? She did not travel with him to L.A., and she hasn’t let her grandfather, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Noah’s accident yet. Jack found out from his son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), after he returned to Genoa City from L.A., stalking his ex-girlfriend, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).
So, why has Noah been traveling to the States without letting his parents know? Why isn’t his supposedly serious girlfriend traveling with him? Why isn’t Allie talking to Jack Abbott? Doesn’t Allie work in the Jabot lab in Paris?
Finally, what’s up with this Mitch guy, who is really Matt Clark, and his supposed wife, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun)?
Somebody has something on somebody, and should only take a few more weeks for Young and the Restless fans to find out what… YAWN…
