Two seasons of ‘With Love, Meghan’ has already been released and the question on the mind of fans now is whether a third season is on the table, especially considering the downgrade of her deal with Netflix.
Whilst she didn’t exactly hit the hammer on the head, she did tease that more content is coming up.
Meghan Markle On How Her Time On ‘Suits’ Helped Her Become A Better Producer
Meghan Markle joined the panel of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit on Tuesday, October 14, and talked about her lifestyle business, As Ever, and her enduring partnership with Netflix.
“I think, looking at that format — again, with a year of learns — we’re able to say eight episodes for two seasons, it’s a lot of work,” the 44-year-old Duchess said during the panel. “Having done Suits for seven years, I remembered what goes into a production. I also recognize how much people want content in different sizes.”
Hinting that ‘With Love, Meghan’s’ format may change in the future, she said, “It’s amazing to be able to sit and watch a show for 30 minutes, but how can I give you a recipe in two minutes and where can I share that with you and how that continues to grow As Ever? So, [we’re] exploring all the options of what it could look like.”
Meghan Markle Teases ‘With Love, Meghan’ Holiday Special
Whilst a third season was not confirmed, she did tease that fans are in for a treat this holiday season. It turns out that she has partnered with Netflix to produce a Christmas special that will see her doing a number of Christmas-themed activities.
“I do lots of gift wrapping techniques. You guys know I used to teach gift wrapping at Paper Source, an advanced gift wrapping [class],” Meghan teased. “All of those things that you do as an auditioning actor, that’s not the full circle I was expecting, but here we are.” Release date and more details are coming up soon.
The first two seasons of ‘With Love, Meghan’ premiered to dismal ratings and numbers, despite boasting stars like Mindy Kaling and Chrissy Teigen.
