Per the largest reports, Meghan will be starring in the new film, ‘Close Personal Friends’ with Jack Quaid, Lily Collins and Brie Lawson.
And for those wondering, yes Meghan does have the blessing of her husband, Prince Harry, for her new role. And apparently, everyone is super excited about it, too.
One source close to the situation even put it this way, “This is a massive moment for Meghan and signifies a return to doing what she truly loves.”
“It is Meghan’s way of gently putting her toe back in the water and seeing how she enjoys being back on set. Everyone involved is super-excited, and have been sworn to secrecy about her involvement.”
The insider also added, “Prince Harry is, of course, really supportive and quite simply wants Meghan to do whatever brings her joy.”
Royal Family News: What’s Next For The Duchess Of Sussex?
Of course, the internet had a lot to say about it. Many even commented with, “Oh please. It’s a cameo and she, of course, will make it all about her. I feel sorry for the stars. It’s a sad state in Hollywood where someone like Markle gets hired for her ability to generate negative PR.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Meghan has never stopped acting: the character as a woman who married a prince and became a duchess has had a continuing 7 year run.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Meghan Merchle returns to acting, big deal. I’d rather watch footage of the Earthshot concert in Brazil, but thanks anyway.”
