Our dear Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson has seen a way better news cycle than the one that’s plagued her in recent days. Let’s just say that it started with the leaking of a particular letter that a particular Duchess wrote to a particular pedophile.
When Jeffrey Epstein’s deplorable business came to light, Fergie was one of the first popular names to publicly disavow him.
However, she turned back and wrote him a glowing apology email, hailing him as a “supreme friend.” In light of this, over six charities have completely cut her off.
But this by no means is the limit to the controversies that this latest development has given birth to. The recent one, which many fans seem to want to agree with, mind you, is that she and Meghan Markle are alike as two peas in a pod.
Royal Expert Opens Up About Sarah Ferguson Being Granted Half-in Half-out Where Meghan Markle Was Not
Sarah Ferguson was the pariah of the Royal Family in the late 90s and so, but these days Meghan Markle seems to have taken the crown.
Though, if you ask me, she’s been going about her days minding her business. It’s Harry and his whole “reconciliation” scheme that seems to keep dragging the Sussexes back to post-Oprah tell-all times.
This, and the Sussex PR machine has made it clear the duo would love to return in a half-in half-out setting, which, if you recall, the late Queen Elizabeth the II spectacularly refused.
“Fergie has been half-in, half-out for 30 years, and they didn’t do anything,” Andrew Lownie told nine.com.au, adding, “I think the argument was that they were separated and then divorced but, again, half-in, half-out. We know she was in the Royal Box [at Wimbledon] and at royal functions and living with her husband. So it’s just complete hypocrisy, the whole thing.”
“Meghan is just a less charming version of Fergie… Fergie did it much better than Meghan.” He further explained, “it’s crazy, they could have had a half-in, I mean there is a model there.”
As for the similarities between the two, a courtier reportedly told Rob Shuter that Meghan and Fergie are connected in their shared hunger to monetize the royal brand for the purposes of filling their own pockets.
