Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings) is unsettled by Leslie Thomas‘s (Trisha Mann-Grant) offer of an alliance on Monday, and honestly? Hayley should be MORE than unsettled! She should be running in the opposite direction!
Leslie is offering Hayley an ALLIANCE? That is immediately suspicious! Leslie does not just offer alliances out of the kindness of her heart! She always has an agenda! So what does Leslie want from Hayley? And who are they forming an alliance AGAINST?
The fact that Hayley is UNSETTLED rather than excited tells us everything we need to know! Hayley clearly senses that something is off about this offer! Her instincts are screaming at her that this is a trap or at the very least a complicated situation she does NOT want to be involved in!

Leslie is not someone who needs help with much! She is smart, capable, and manipulative! So if she is offering Hayleyan alliance, it means Hayley has something Leslie needs! But what?
Does Hayley have information Leslie wants? Does Hayley have access to someone or something that Leslie needs to get to? Is Hayley positioned in a way that makes her valuable to Leslie‘s plans?
Or is this alliance actually about protecting Hayley from something? Is Leslie offering to team up because she knows Hayley is in trouble and needs backup? That would almost be MORE suspicious because Leslie helping someone out of the goodness of her heart seems unlikely!
Whatever Leslie‘s motivation is, Hayley knows there is more to this offer than meets the eye! That is why she is so unsettled! Her gut is telling her this is a bad idea!
Will Hayley Accept or Reject the Alliance?
