Lacey Chabert Reveals Secrets Behind Hallmark’s “Haul Out the Halloween” — Tricks and Treats UnveiledHallmark Movies spoilers and updates reveal Lacey Chabert is about to bring a spooky twist to Evergreen Lane.

She’s transforming it from Hallmark’s charming Haul Out the Holly series into EverSCREAM Lane with this year’s festive installment, Haul Out the Halloween.

Lacey Herself Was Surprised By The Focus On Halloween

Emily and Jared (Wes Brown), along with their homeowners’ association, find themselves in a frenzy when new neighbors have a passion for Halloween.

They move in and inspire them to dig out their scariest costumes and decorations. The emphasis on a holiday that isn’t centered around December even caught the Christmas Queen off guard.

“When I first learned that the movie would focus on Halloween, I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, how are we going to pull that off?’ But it’s done so well,” Chabert shared with Soaps.com in a recent interview; “It’s a blast. This movie is incredibly funny.”

Lacey Appreciated The Romantic, Heartfelt Storyline

She was excited about the “heartfelt” and “romantic storyline,” which allows fans to see Emily and Jared’s wedding and discover what this new phase in their lives brings.

It was also wonderful to collaborate with her real-life best friend, Kimberly J. Brown, and Brown’s husband, Daniel Kountz, who portray the new neighbors; it felt like a dream come true! (For those who know, Brown and Kountz are seasoned actors from Disney Channel’s Halloweentown series, making this a great casting decision.) “Reuniting with this cast was one of the most memorable experiences of my career, honestly; they are such an amazing group of people,” Chabert said.

“We never imagined we would get to do more than just one film, and thanks to the fans who keep watching, we’ve been able to continue, so thank you; I hope this isn’t the end.

Many More Holidays To Decorate For

There are so many holidays that Chabert and her festive team could decorate for, and we believe the residents of Evergreen Lane would be excited to take on the challenge.

“I really hope they go all out for Easter or whatever we come up with… maybe even Valentine’s Day,” she mentioned as we discussed St. Patrick’s Day. “There are so many holidays throughout the year, so I think we can keep coming up with new stories.”

But first, fans need to watch Haul Out the Halloween, which premieres on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 8/7c on the Hallmark Channel. It will be available for streaming the following day on Hallmark+.
