It looks like not even cancer is going to stop him from getting his work done. There’s a new report that says King Charles is still working harder than Prince William, despite the health setbacks he was faced with this past year. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
King Charles Is Still Working Hard Despite His Health Battle
According to Radar Online, the King of England still managed to outwork Prince William despite his age and his personal battle with cancer.
That’s because King Charles managed to take on 118 official engagements last year while Prince William only took on 71.
But then again, this really shouldn’t surprise anyone seeing how the Prince of Wales already has a reputation of being one of the most work-shy royals in the monarchy.
However, at the same time King Charles ignored his doctor’s orders and did as much work as he possibly could do back in 2024, which also included an overseas trip to Australia and Samoa.
One source close to the situation even said, “Charles wanted to show he’s still able to fulfill his duties, but it was painfully obvious he wasn’t well.”
Royal Family News: What’s Next For The King of England?
That said, it’s also been reported that King Charles is struggling with his cancer. Even though the palace has not specified what kind of cancer King Charles has been dealing with, those who have been spending time with him know that there’s a reason to be concerned about the King of England and his future.
One source close to the situation even put it this way, “He looks quite knackered up close and red around the eyes and thinner. Especially for someone who normally looks so vigorous, but I suppose it’s only to be expected after 10 months of cancer treatment.”
And because of what his father is going through, Prince William is apparently preparing to be the next king of England just in case. He knows that it’s now or never.
Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
