Vaughan hopped on Instagram this past week and uploaded a selfie on set. In the caption, he wrote, “Look out… something special is taking shape!! Today was one of those days that reminds you why you love the work.”
He went on to say, “Grateful for real executive leadership, talent collaboration, and heart in this environment!”

As of this writing, the new CBS soap has yet to reveal who Vaughan will be playing, and who he’ll be sharing scenes and storylines with, or even an exact airdate – so fans need to wait and see.
Vaughan is loved by many soap viewers for the roles he’s played in other shows.
He was Lucky Spencer at General Hospital from 2003 to 2009, then Eric Brady from 2012 to 2024, and has been seen in Salem on a recurring basis since.
Vaughan was also Diego Guittierez on The Young and the Restless from 2002 to 2003. In 2018, the actor won a Daytime Emmy in the Supporting Actor category for his work on DOOL.
