General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the ABC soap has been playing it close to the vest in regard to what’s really going on with newly returned Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
Nathan was presumed dead seven years ago but he suddenly popped back up in PC, shocking everyone to their core.
He was the victim of a car accident and when tests were run at GH, his DNA and fingerprints matched the real Nathan. But this Nathan does not remember anything after being shot by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
Will The Real Nathan Please Stand Up
Nothing gets by crack cop Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and she told Nathan point blank that he doesn’t look like a man who’s been asleep for seven years.
So, does this mean that Nathan was up to shady business while he was “dead?” His sister Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) behavior toward him seems to indicate this.
It was Britt who objected to Nathan having access to his young son, James West (Gary James Fuller). Some fans think that Nathan is the mystery boss on the project Britt is being forced to work on.
Is Nathan the Mystery Boss?
Further complicating matters, a conversation between the siblings in the October 9 episode was intriguing.
During the convo, Nathan talked about his new reality and Britt added that he is discovering what life is like “in 2025.” All of the subterfuge seems to point to Nathan’s identity being obscured.
The Clues Are Plenty
Remember too that just before Nathan crashed his truck, Britt’s medication was delivered with a note signed “C.”
Which leads us to this possibility: Did Cesar Faison take over Nathan’s body during the last seven years, but Nathan has no clue about this?
It’s curious also that “Nathan” has had some strange looks on his face after interacting with Britt. Does it mean that Faison is in charge and pretending to be Nathan?
