General Hospital spoilers have a lot of fans asking this same question: should Julie Berman come back to the soap to reprise her role as Lulu Falconeri? Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Should Julie Berman Come Back To The Soap?
As many of our loyal readers would probably even agree, Lulu’s always been such an important character on General Hospital, and every actress brought their own flavor to her.
Julie Berman had that fiery, rebellious side that really made Lulu pop in the early years. Emme Rylan’s take felt softer but still strong, and Alexa Havins has brought her own energy into the role too.
Of course, General Hospital fans certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some have even commented with, “Julie will always be my favorite as the original, but of the recasts Alexa by far. Alexa gives her this relatable quality & plays her similarly to Julie.”
“I could never stand Emme’s version. It felt like a Disney-princess-ification of Lulu & her acting choices for Lulu just always came off wrong for the character. She seemed like an absolutely lovely person, but just wrong for the role.”
Who Was The Best Lulu On The Soap?
Another critic wrote, “Julie Berman. She’ll always be Lulu for me. Havins is a close second and I always feel bad for Rylan. She got so much unnecessary hate.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Julie Berman kicked butt! I’ll never forget those scenes where Johnny Zachara left her and she was screaming and crying fresh out of her stay in Shady Brook — were incredible! That teenage emotion that borders on obsession…. she knocked it out of the park!”
