General Hospital Spoilers claim Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) is about to get a heavy dose of reality when it comes to the woman who brought him to life — Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
While Emma Scorpio Drake (Bradyn Bruner) and Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) get dangerously close to surprising discoveries this week, it doesn’t mean they’re going to clue Rocco in right away.
In fact, they may have a hard time breaking it to him that Britt is on the other side of this tragic situation.
Committed to breaking into Professor Henry ‘Hank’ Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab, it could also be that Rocco is in tow with them when they turn the place upside down and find evidence of Britt’s participation long before she came to Port Charles.
Will the truth be much more cruel than animal testing alone, and will it clue Rocco and his friends in on a secret which may be that Britt isn’t Britt at all?
Curiosity Killed the Cat
Rocco doesn’t know what he doesn’t know right now, and it’s making Britt seem far more appealing to him.
He wants to know about the first seven months of his life, and he’s been enjoying getting to know Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), too.
But Rocco has been busy romanticizing who he thinks Britt might be, while Britt is dwelling on the reputation she has strived to outrun for years.
The reality is, the truth lies somewhere in between those two fallacies. Will helping Gio and Emma break into Dalton’s lab end up crushing Rocco’s curiosity — and his spirit?
Lulu and Dante May Rejoice
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampronga) have been struggling to navigate this situation, realizing a while ago that the more they tried to keep Rocco away from Lulu, the more curious he would become.
Still, they didn’t expect him to lie to them recently about his whereabouts when he had dinner with Britt, Nathan, and Liesl.
So, if Rocco suddenly turns from overly interested to seriously upset with Britt, they’re not going to balk and may figure he learned a valuable lesson about who they think Britt really is. But as usual, we expect there will be more to the story.
Britt Could Redeem Herself
Still, there is a chance here that Britt might redeem herself and come back from this completely martyred. If Britt pulls off her mask to reveal a hero lurking underneath, all bets are off for how Rocco will receive it.
After all, this is the same woman (allegedly) who saved Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) life. It’ll make even more of an impact if she happens to rescue Rocco from trouble, which might result in Dante and Lulu having to cut her some slack, and could help forge a bond with the boy she named “Ben.”
