General Hospital spoilers and updates prompt us to question: Did a programmed Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) actually shoot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)? Is it possible that Nathan has no recollection of the commands he executed while under brainwashing?
The Last Thing Nathan Remembered Was Being Shot By Cesar Faison
During the September 24 episode of GH, Nathan asserted that his last memory was being shot by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) brought him up to date.
When he learned that this happened seven years ago, he was completely taken aback. A confused Nathan initially pondered whether he had been in a coma.
Still, he didn’t feel weak as if he had been confined to a bed for all those years. Just by looking at him, it’s evident that Nathan is in great shape and seems to have been quite active.
Isaiah Gannon Gave Nathan A Good Report On His Overall Health
Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) also shared a favorable assessment of Nathan’s health. To put it another way, Nathan hasn’t been frozen in time for seven years.
Despite his memory loss, it’s clear that Nathan has been engaged in activities – like operating the truck that he crashed.
If Nathan is being honest, he doesn’t remember taking the wheel, so what else might he have forgotten; is there a possibility that Nathan doesn’t recall shooting Drew?
The show is certainly looking to unveil a shocking perpetrator regarding who pulled the trigger.
A Brainwashed Nathan Could Be Tied Into A Lot Of Different Things
Nathan is bound to reach that objective and has the potential to weave elements together to create a significant overarching narrative.
It’s conceivable that a programmed version of Nathan was engaged in sinister deeds while the genuine Nathan’s consciousness lay inactive. Someone with a reason to target Drew might have dispatched Nathan for the task.
Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) alluded to possibly eliminating Drew and is associated with the project that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has been involved in. Nathan could also be connected to all of this and might have returned to Port Charles earlier than anyone anticipated.
Sidwell Could Have Programmed Nathan As His Hit Man
Sidwell may have programmed Nathan to pursue Drew, or perhaps another unexpected character gave Nathan the orders. Either way, it would be quite a twist if Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) were attempting to dodge charges for something Nathan did.
The family ties could introduce a significant surprise. This Nathan plot is bound to get complicated; it will be fascinating to see if programming plays a role and how it connects to the entire Drew shooter saga.
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Nathan might eventually regain some lost memories, so keep an eye out for any major developments that could emerge.
