General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) may have been alive all along, his death having been faked for witness protection.
But word managed to get to him that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has gone into a coma-and he left witness protection and was headed for Port Charles when his wreck happened.
Nathan Went Into Witness Protection Under Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) was the police commissioner when Nathan was “killed” and secretly had him rushed out of GH after he was thought to have flatlined.
It was all very complicated, and it broke Nathan’s heart to have to leave his new wife, who had just revealed she was pregnant with James West (Gary James Fuller).
But because if he stayed, not only he but Maxie and others would be targets, including his mother, his aunt and his sister, he agreed.
Nathan had only heard Maxie was in a coma, and didn’t know her location-but the criminals in question are now dead so he is released.
He knew he would have a lot of explaining to do, but his plans were to connect with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) first, before anything else-but it turned out he didn’t have a chance.
Jordan Ashford Has A Lot Of Explaining To Do To Anna Devane
Jordan will have a lot of explaining to do to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) since she, Dante Falconeri, (Dominic Zamprogna) Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) saw him.
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) found him unconscious in his wrecked pickup, and called 911, and tried to assist him. He was brought in unconscious with a head injury-and emergency surgery had to be done-he could very well end up in a coma as well, but he won’t!
Jordan isn’t even with the police department anymore, but Anna will get some shocking intel from her-verifying the man in surgery really is Nathan.
Anna and the rest are just barely getting used to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) being alive, and now her brother?-once she has proof she does tell Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Britt Is Shaken
It becomes glaringly obvious that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) doesn’t know anything more about Nathan’s survival any more than she knew about Britt’s.
It’s one heck of a coincidence that the brother and sister both thought to be dead are alive and arrive a few days apart from each other!
Britt just got hired as supervisor of emergency room intake at GH, and although she wasn’t at work when Nathan was brought in, she’ll be shaken up when she does.
She’s still on the outs with Liesl, and with everything else going on, she may find out before Nina has a chance to give her a heads-up.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will be notified as well, since she’s Maxie’s mother-and then pending Nathan’s recovery, maybe father and son James will meet!
