General Hospital spoilers gush Laura Collins (Genie Francis) received an impromptu visit from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) this week that left her questioning what she might be up against in refusing to work with him.
Sidwell is clearly focused on trying to get ownership of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) piers by any means necessary. As Laura tries to combat his attempts to seize that property or swindle his way into it, she’s starting to sense just how much this guy doesn’t like to play nice.
Knowing his history and what he has already done to her son, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), is Laura inching near her breaking point? She may not be able to be bought, but that doesn’t mean Sidwell can’t make her pay. How might he do that?
Rocco is a Wreck
When Sidwell left Laura’s office on Monday, he stopped just short of the door and told her, “I fully respect that you and your office are not for sale, but please keep in mind that not all transactions are monetary. Everyone has their price — even you.”
That comment left Laura on her toes and concerned that her forceful refusal to work with Sidwell might result in him applying other pressures on her that she can’t possibly predict.
By Tuesday, he was bumping into Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and making the connection that he had some sort of relationship with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) — who is under his thumb. Will he make use of Britt to get close to Rocco and scare the daylights out of Laura?
GH Spoilers Gossip Kevin Could Be in Danger
Of course, Laura’s grandson isn’t the only way to rattle her cage. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) has been absent from the picture for a while now. Lindstrom debuted in the role of Joey Armstrong on Beyond the Gates this past February, signaling a quiet departure from GH for a bit.
Could an attack from Sidwell be the way they write his character off for the short-term — or worse, for the long-term?
We Haven’t Seen the Cassadines in a While
While Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been getting some screen time, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) has had very little outside of the visit with her father and her palling around with Rocco.
Might Sidwell come target both of them, or could he go after an entirely different grandchild — Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay)?
Some fans also suspect he might be able to get to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) in the pen and send the mayor a message that no one she loves is safe — not even inside prison walls.
