Is Ronnie Really Monica’ Sister?
Fans have taken to chat discussions to talk about whether or not Ronnie is Monica’s sister. That’s because many viewers are finding it hard to believe that Monica never told anyone she had a sister, no less tried to help her or even met her in person. Then to leave her something (maybe the house) in her will?
Make it make sense already, right? That said, there’s even speculation that either Drew or Ric might have hired someone to pretend to be Monica’s sister in order to further their own objectives.
Of course, General Hospital fans certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “Maybe not. Tracy said she heard of her when she researched Monica back in the day but she is a fake or a retcon introduced by the show because Monica was an orphan. She was in foster care and Gail fostered her.”
Viewers Want Answers
“Gail’s first husband groomed Monica and then wrote letters saying Monica went after him.”
Another fan of the show wrote, “She does have a cousin: Lorena Sharpe Barrington who was introduced in ’86. She built and ran a spa. They could have just used her. She left town and has to my knowledge never been declared dead.”
And then there was this comment as well: “They should have written it where Ronnie showed up before Monica passed away and reconnected with her and stayed at the house. Then it would make more sense if she manipulated things to her benefit like a forged will.”
“It is rather odd that some long lost relative is just roaming outside the Quartermaine house. Why wouldn’t she have shown up for Monica’s service if she knew it was going on?”
