General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that there may be an intriguing twist involving two shooters ahead in the weeks to come. Is it possible that a cunning pair of assassins set their sights on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) during that fateful night?
Willow And Nina Were Just Arrested, But What If It’s Someone Else-Or Two Someone Elses?
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has just been taken into custody for the attempted murder of Drew, while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) faces charges for conspiracy to commit murder, too.
Even though Nina tried to provide Willow with an alibi, that fell apart when security footage revealed she was alone at her apartment building. It’s evident Nina didn’t shoot Drew, but is Willow the one who did?
While Willow is likely to accuse Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) of framing her with the evidence found at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) home, there’s still a possibility that she may be guilty herself.
But if Willow indeed “dun it” in the whodunit, she could have had an accomplice who came back, although they didn’t finish him off.
Someone Else Entirely Could Have Targeted Drew, Turning His House Into A Crime Scene
Nonetheless, it’s conceivable that someone completely different targeted Drew and transformed his residence into a crime scene. In fact, there might have been two shooters involved, as Drew was shot twice with a noticeable pause between the shots.
It’s possible that one attacker fired the initial shot and then passed the weapon to a second shooter.
This could have been a strategy for both criminals to have leverage over one another, solidifying their partnership in this illegal act.
Naturally, if that were true, neither shooter executed their plan very effectively, considering they left Drew alive!
Kai And Trina Pointed Out Scout’s Phone Call May Have Saved Her Dad’s Life
Nonetheless, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) mentioned that Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) phone call might have been crucial in saving Drew’s life.
This, by frightening off the attacker, or possibly the two attackers if the theory of a double shooter holds true. Even if Willow is ultimately found guilty, she might have been collaborating with someone else.
Nina is blameless, but Drew had other adversaries who could have been inclined to join forces with Willow on that stormy evening, or it could be another crafty pair altogether.
Drew had an extensive list of enemies capable of taking extreme measures, so it will be intriguing to discover who actually fired those shots!
