General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that a devastated Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will reach out to a sympathetic Laura Collins (Genie Francis) about Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) pregnancy news. But the big question is, who spilled the dirty tea-Portia was trying to keep her pregnancy a secret, considering she doesn’t know who the father is!
Portia Had Sex With Curtis One Night, Then With Isaiah A Night Or Two Later
Unlike her previous pregnancy with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), Portia has no way of knowing who her baby’s father is-she had sex with both Curtis and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).
But unlike the situation with Trina, who was conceived while Marcus Taggart (Réal Andrews) was away with work, she can’t fudge any timeframes of conception! She had sex with Curtis one night, then with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) only a night or two later.
The only people who know about Portia’s pregnancy dilemma-that Portia shared with, anyway-are Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Dr. Frida Navarro (Christina Ferraro).
Neither Elizabeth or Dr. Navarro would expose Portia’s pregnancy dilemma-that only leaves one person, who she didn’t tell, but who strongly suspected and confronted Portia!
Curtis Doesn’t Yet Know Portia Cheated, But He Does Know She’s Pregnant And Didn’t Tell Him
Curtis doesn’t yet know Portia cheated, but he does know she’s pregnant and didn’t tell him-and his ex, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) expressed concern to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Anna told Jordan to stay out of it, but it sounds like she just couldn’t-it wasn’t right for Portia to withhold her pregnancy from Curtis!
She kept Trina’s paternity a secret for many years, and the fact that she did almost broke her and Curtis up on their wedding day.
It’s obvious that Portia and Curtis’ divorce isn’t what devastates Curtis-that’s already been decided; but Portia withholding her pregnancy with his child would be very painful.
Laura Tries To Comfort Curtis, But He’s Beside Himself
Laura tries to comfort Curtis, but he’s beside himself-he can’t believe Portia could be this cruel; he even wonders if she plans to terminate the pregnancy because they’re divorcing.
Of course, it was Jordan who tells Curtis what she witnessed-and how Portia wouldn’t admit her pregnancy to her at the Quartermaine tea party.
It makes no sense to Curtis or Laura that Portia wouldn’t have told him, planned divorce or not; regardless if it was Jordan’s place to tell him her suspicions or not.
Laura understands it’s rather much of a sticky wicket for Curtis to confront Portia about the pregnancy, considering he doesn’t want to out Jordan. Still, that seems to be the only way to get an answer to his question, so she advises him he needs to talk to Portia and see how she responds.
