General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, October 17 reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) provides guidance, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) issues requests, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) poses inquiries.
Additionally, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) engages in plea bargaining, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) is taken aback, and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has a change of heart.
Carly Offers Guidance
In the kitchen of Carly’s home, she offers guidance to her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy); it seems Josslyn is still unaware that her mother is aware of her WSB involvement. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) eventually revealed the truth, despite having assured Josslyn he wouldn’t, but it seems it was for her benefit.
Carly maintains her composure while talking to her daughter, a stark contrast to her earlier frantic and adrenaline-fueled response when Jason first informed her.
Carly shares valuable advice with Josslyn, urging her to avoid making promises she cannot fulfill. However, Carly is also planning to investigate further, possibly looking into Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) justifications and how he managed to involve Josslyn with the WSB!

Anna Makes Requests
Meanwhile, Anna confronts Jack about the project taking place in Port Charles that is linked to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove)!
There are elements ranging from cold fusion to potential resurrection or cloning involved, and Anna insists that they must collaborate to put a stop to it.
No more of this nonsense about “civilian cops” not having a role in WSB cases; solving crimes isn’t exclusive to the WSB! Years ago, Jack blackmailed Anna out of the WSB because she was a double agent, working for both the WSB and the DVX.
Jack attempted to extract information from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) regarding specifics of Faison’s project, which he believes is still ongoing by others, and Anna is the foremost expert on Faison!
Dante Inquires
Meanwhile, Dante is at Bobbie’s, where he poses questions to his former partner, the seemingly resurrected Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
It’s clear that his inquiries are related to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), as Dante wonders if she would take the blame for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Both Nina and Willow have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), with Nina facing conspiracy charges and Willow charged with the shooting.
Nina was prepared to fabricate an alibi for her daughter, but her plan fell apart when Anna uncovered evidence proving she wasn’t with her during the crime.
However, the real question Dante poses to Nathan is whether Nina would actually serve time in prison for her daughter.
Marco Tries To Plea Bargain Nina’s Case
In the meantime, Nina is in the courthouse with Marco, alongside Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), as Marco works to negotiate a plea deal.
Marco inquires of Turner what might be on offer if she grants it to him, presumably some information that Justine requires for a case?
There are a few potential scenarios here—one could be details she may have regarding Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and previous offenses.
Alternatively, she might also possess inside knowledge about something illegal Drew has done, which would definitely shift the dynamics!

Martin Is Blindsided
In the interrogation room at the Port Charles Police Department, Martin is taken aback as Willow seemingly outlines what his legal approach should be!
She firmly believes they need to redirect the blame onto the individual who attempted to murder Drew, someone she has already identified as Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
After all, what other reason could there be for Michael to frame her by placing Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun, the attempted murder weapon, in her room at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst)?
Martin is bound to have a response to Willow’s assertive strategy. Who does she think she is, anyway, Perry Mason?

A Change Of Mind For Britt
Outside Bobbie’s, Britt is with Jason as she tells him that after thinking it over, she’s decided to join him inside. Is Jason there to collect the remainder of his belongings from the room she’s occupying because of him, or is she merely talking about the diner?
By this point, Jason should have fully relocated, considering he’s residing at the Quartermaine mansion. It’s clear he has invited her to enter with him, prompting her change of heart. Is Britt truly beginning to let her guard down and giving romance another shot?
