General Hospital spoilers report Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has broken the news to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) that Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) is a covert federal agent for the WSB.
To add insult to injury, it was her boyfriend Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) who recruited her daughter behind her back.

There is one other person she may be able to lean on for help though: Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). It’s unlikely that Sonny will be able to pull Joss out of the WSB, even if she agreed to it, but that doesn’t mean he won’t retaliate to send a message — and a surprisingly large number of fans would be here for it!

Empathy was written all over Jason’s face at that moment, as we would expect, but the fans are wondering what they should expect from Sonny.
The mobster with a heart of gold has been shockingly soft in recent years, and although some say fans should be used to it, others are still waiting for the old Sonny to rear his head. Is it time?
GH Spoilers Suggest Sonny Gets Violent?
Nearly five years ago, Sonny washed up on the riverbank in Nixon Falls, PA as his family back home began to worry that something had happened to him. His presumed death would go on throughout the year with only Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) aware of his whereabouts while Sonny battled amnesia.
As rumors swirled off the set that Maurice Benard was tired of playing an angry and volatile character and threatened to walk if they didn’t change Sonny’s lifestyle, we saw that play out in real time.
For nearly a year, Sonny was soft — not the slightest bit of rage surfacing. But fans were hopeful that he would settle for the reprieve and go back to the mobster we knew and loved.
To date, that hasn’t happened. Could news of what Jack did to Joss end up sparking a war that brings the old Sonny out of the shadows?
General Hospital Spoilers — It’s Been Too Long
Browse social media posts about Sonny and you’re bound to come across those who liked him better “back in the day.” He was angry, full of vengeance, and had a bone to pick with everyone who crossed his path. Soap operas being what they are, we were here for the drama.
These days, he’s a lot milder. It wasn’t so long ago that he was scouting ways out of the business, acting like it was a tangible possibility even without a successor. Once upon a time, much of the show revolved around Sonny’s mob dealings, but today, we hardly hear about them.
Instead, we only see him engage in drama when someone else shows up with it, and this time, it’s going to be his ex-wife. Sonny will do anything to protect and defend his family — and Joss is still an extension of that.
How is he going to feel about a fed like Jack busting up his family and compromising them? How will he feel about Joss moving forward and knowing he can’t trust her?
Is this enough to spark a sequel to Sonny’s darker days? Could we see him go after Jack or even order a hit on him? Jason might relish that job!
