She sent him to check on the search warrant status. Emma came in to talk to her grandmother about the kiss she had with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and how awkward things had been since, as they hadn’t spoken much.

Gio Talks To Sonny At Volonino’s

In a boxing lesson with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at Volonino’s, Gio told his grandfather that he was uncertain if Emma truly wanted to kiss him.

Worried that Emma didn’t feel the same way he did, Gio requested to stay with Sonny, explaining that being around her was too awkward. Sonny agreed to let him move in, but when Emma arrived at the gym, he made himself scarce to give them space to talk.

While Gio and Emma had an awkward conversation about Monica’s memorial service, she mentioned that she would have gone with him and felt hurt when Gio said he would never have asked.

Emma hid her disappointment, even though she felt crushed when Gio told her he was moving out.

ADA Justine Turner Shows Up At Volonino’s

Situated at the opposite end of the gym, Sonny found himself in a dialogue with Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), as he sought to extract details concerning the shooting incident.

Sonny, worried about Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) being a person of interest in the  Drew Cain case asked her about it while she was in the midst of warming up for her kickboxing session. The ADA refused to give him any details on the case.

However,  Justine felt a sense of amusement in response to Sonny’s enthusiastic attempt to facilitate a romantic connection between Emma and Gio. She had been a silent observer to the whole dynamic from her spot across the room.

Quartermaines In Shock After The Will Reading

The Quartermaine family didn’t know how to react to Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) giving the house to Ronnie.

Tracy accused Ronnie of twisting the situation, as Monica had said she would leave the house to Michael, and was upset to learn that Edward’s lawyer had revised the will earlier this year.

Tracy insisted they contact the lawyer, but Alexis said he had retired, and she was just reading the will. Although Michael understood that his grandmother wished to help her sister, Tracy maintained that the will was a forgery. Furthermore, she would get the house over Tracy’s dead body!

Tracy Wanted Proof Of Monica’s Correspondence With Ronnie

Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) wondered if Monica had included Ronnie in her will after taking Drew out, and never mentioned her sister to them because she felt bad about their estrangement.

Tracy insisted they had no evidence of a reunion apart from Ronnie’s word, and when the waitress brought a pile of Monica’s letters, Tracy contended that they might have been forged.

Sure that she could undermine Ronnie’s assertion that Monica had kept her letters as well, Tracy instructed Brook Lynn to go upstairs and look for the letters in Monica’s suite.

Later, at Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) request, Ronnie shared the reasons behind her conflict with Monica during Monica’s marriage to Jeff Webber (William R. Moses).

When Ned noted that Monica never discussed her history, Tracy blamed the entire family for believing Ronnie’s “sob story” and informed Alexis that she would be challenging the will.

As The Quartermaines Bickered, Anna And Chase Arrived With A Warrant

Sadly for Tracy, Alexis made it clear that she couldn’t assist, as she wasn’t Tracy’s legal representative. While the quarrel went on in the living room, Michael answered the door to find Anna, Chase, and a PCPD officer there to look for a revolver registered to Edward.

Tracy wished for Alexis to stop the search, but her hands were tied since, as she reiterated, she wasn’t Tracy’s attorney.

Alexis then left but paused outside the front door to call Sonny, telling him that she needed to meet with him and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) as soon as possible.

Ronnie Put A Stop To The Search

Back inside, as Tracy insisted that Ned contact the family lawyer, Brook Lynn came down the stairs with a box of letters.

Tracy would not allow the police to search the property until the lawyer arrived, but Anna continued to press.

Believing that Michael had inherited the estate, Anna requested him to examine the search warrant, but Ronnie interjected, stating that she was Monica’s sister and the new owner of 66 Harborview.

Handing the warrant to Ronnie, Anna directed the officer to begin in the study, but Ronnie paused the search until she could read the document. Ned appreciated Ronnie’s careful reading of the warrant, which was buying them some time, but Tracy remarked that Ronnie was merely a slow reader-but Ronnie  found a typo and stopped the search.

Josslyn Arrives Home And Intervenes Between Britt And Carly

When Carly and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had a conflict at Bobbie’s over the rent, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) intervened.

She told  her mother to back off, worried that Britt might disclose her status as a WSB agent. Under the pretense that Britt saved her from being killed by Heather Webber (Alley Mills), Josslyn remarked that they would always be mindful of their debt to Britt.

The double meaning was clear between Josslyn and Britt, as she was truly referring to Croatia. After Britt exited, Carly admitted that Britt irritated her so much because of the doctor’s history with Jason.

Carly Continued Venting To Josslyn About Britt

Carly was not only upset that Britt allowed Jason to believe she had died, but she also held Dr. Westbourne accountable for her best friend’s issues with the FBI.

They  started when he “died” while trying to help Britt rescue Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) on Cassadine Island. Carly was adamant about needing to safeguard her best friend-Joss questioned whether her mom felt envious of Britt, but Carly maintained that this wasn’t true.

Instead, she argued that she sensed something had occurred while Jason was looking for Britt and couldn’t grasp why he wouldn’t share it with her.

Josslyn felt uneasy when Carly expressed her belief that Jason would eventually reveal what he was hiding and made an excuse to exit.

She headed to the  emergency department, to find Britt, who indicated that she comprehended the message fully-in exchange for keeping quiet, Britt asked for a suite at the Metro Court Hotel.

Alexis Warns Sonny And Carly

Sonny and Carly were on edge as they awaited Alexis’s arrival at the restaurant. Upon her arrival, Alexis revealed that the police had issued a search warrant for the Quartermaines in search of Edward’s revolver, which she suspected was the firearm used in Drew’s shooting.

She clarified that her call was made as a concerned parent, not in her capacity as a lawyer, and voiced her fears that the police were closing in on Michael. Alexis advised Sonny and Carly to provide any evidence they had that could prove their son’s innocence.

Isaiah Confronted Curtis

After almost fainting in her office with Elizabeth Baldwin, (Rebecca Herbst) Portia dismissed her dizziness as mere stress but was shocked to discover she might be pregnant.

She also was uncertain whether Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) or Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was the father; in the meantime, Isaiah caught up with Curtis as he headed to Drew’s room.

The doctor advised Curtis not to exploit his wife’s role as chief of staff by confronting a patient over personal issues.

Britt intervened in the heated discussion before it could escalate, handing Isaiah a file of scans, and cautioned Curtis that Drew was a high-profile and very litigious patient.

She also warned him  that causing any setbacks for the congressman could put the hospital in a difficult situation.

'General Hospital' Recap October 7: Carly Vents, Tracy Cries Fraud & Portia’s Pregnancy News

Portia Finds Out She’s Pregnant!

While returning to the hub from Portia’s office, Elizabeth scolded Britt for not being in the emergency room, then asked Curtis about the fight Britt said she had stopped.

Isaiah went to Portia’s office to inform her that he had a dispute with Curtis regarding Drew-Portia requested that he avoid any future interactions with Curtis.

After he left so she could resume her work, Portia took a pregnancy test from her coat pocket. After using the test in her office bathroom, she set the stick on her desk, anxiously waiting for the results-just as she realized the test was positive, Curtis knocked on her door.

Later, Isaiah confided in Liz that he was tired of watching Curtis “throw his weight around” to get his way, and Elizabeth cautioned him against crossing boundaries with his boss.
