General Hospital recaps for Wednesday, October 22 reveal Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) asked Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for help, while Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) clashed.
While Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) questioned Nathan Reeves, (Ryan Paevey), Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) teamed up with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to take Jack down!

Lois Asked Sonny For Help
Lois returned to Port Charles and visited Sonny, asking for help to mend the rift between Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton).
She wanted to know how Gio was doing and was pleased to learn he had moved in with Sonny, but disheartened that he had dropped out of school and wasn’t playing the violin. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)
Sonny explained that Gio now linked music to the lies he had been told, which made Lois lament that her daughter and grandson, the two she cherished most, were suffering because of her.
This is why she needed Sonny to bring her and Gio together, so she could take responsibility for everything. Sonny cautioned Lois that talking to Gio might not resolve his issues with Brook Lynn.
Emma And Josslyn Clashed
Emma ignored Josslyn outside of Bobbie’s, rolling her eyes at yet another warning from her rival to steer clear of Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard).
Emma asserted that she would fully capitalize on the position Josslyn had relinquished, prompting Joss to stand her ground, insisting that Emma was clueless about what the professor was truly up to.
When Emma pressed Joss on why she was so sure Dalton was trouble, Joss recalled her discussion with Brennan when he first tasked her with going undercover at PCU.

This was to gather information on Dalton’s research. Just as she was about to respond to Emma, Joss received a text message; she threw out a final “don’t say I didn’t warn you” before walking away.
Brook Lynn And Ronnie Had Breakfast At Bobbie’s
At Bobbie’s, Brook Lynn decided to treat Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak) to a delightful breakfast as a way to express her apologies for her grandmother’s actions the previous day.
While Ronnie busied herself mixing a special hangover remedy, the two friends took the opportunity to fill Gio in on the dramatic events that had unfolded at the tea party.
This included Ronnie’s strong conviction that Tracy had slipped her something, leading to her bold decision to evict Tracy from the gathering, as well as the mansion.
Gio, ever the supportive friend, commended Ronnie for her actions, emphasizing the importance of establishing boundaries to prevent others from taking advantage of you. However, his words seemed to resonate painfully with Brook Lynn, leaving her feeling a bit stung.
Emma Arrived, Complained To Gio About Her Clash With Joss
Emma entered and voiced her concerns to Gio about Josslyn’s recent warning; while he considered if Joss had a valid point, Emma thought Joss was merely trying to regain her job.
She noted that their chat highlighted the urgency to proceed with their plan to expose Dalton, especially since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has been busy lately. Gio made Emma promise they would handle it together, sealing their partnership with a kiss.
He then stepped back to take a call from Sonny, who urged him to come home after his shift because Lois was there, and it was important for him to speak with her.
On the other end, Lois sounded hopeful, but Gio seemed hesitant about meeting with his maternal grandmother.
Ronnie Told Brook Lynn She’s Tracy’s Good Granddaughter
In the meantime, Ronnie informed Brook Lynn that Gio had revealed their past to her and hinted that he was trying to understand his place within the Quartermaine family.
She mentioned that she had extended an open invitation for Gio to return to the house, and Brook Lynn expressed that she had a plan to bring him over. As she smiled at the sight of Gio and Emma sharing a kiss across the diner, Brook Lynn disclosed her plan to Ronnie.
She said that she could arrange for Emma to visit Outback at the Quartermaine stables, hoping that Gio would join them. “Not bad,” Ronnie laughed in agreement; “I suppose you truly are Tracy’s-good-granddaughter.”

Tracy And Lulu Discussed Tracy’s Move
After her altercation with Ronnie, Tracy found herself crashing on Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) couch. She was far from pleased when noisy teenagers Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) woke her up.
When Charlotte chuckled at the news of Tracy being kicked out of the mansion, Lulu reprimanded her daughter for showing disrespect to their guest.
Once the kids left, Lulu assured Tracy that she was welcome to stay as long as she wished. But she suggested that if she couldn’t cope with the teens, she might want to look for another place.

Tracy Again Called Ronnie A Fraud
Frustrated by her homeless situation, Tracy defended herself, claiming that Ronnie had set her up and was concealing something.
Convinced that Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) wouldn’t have disinherited Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) for a sister she hadn’t spoken to in years, Tracy reiterated her belief that the will was forged.
Taking the opposing view, Lulu noted that Michael didn’t require more money or proof of Monica’s affection, but perhaps Monica believed that Ronnie needed both.
On the porch, Rocco encouraged Charlotte to be gentle with Tracy, given that she had recently lost Monica and her home. Acknowledging her harshness towards Tracy, Charlotte explained that she was still feeling jet-lagged and irritable after her visit to her father.

Charlotte Talked About Her Visit To Valentin, When They Saw Tracy’s Moving Truck Drive Up
Charlotte expressed to her brother how strange it felt to see their father in such an eerie prison. In return, he shared with her the details of his dinner with his “other” family.
Just as Charlotte was passing on Rocco Valentin’s caution about not trusting Britt, a moving truck suddenly arrived at the house.
The teens interrupted the discussion between Lulu and Tracy by bringing in the first few boxes filled with Tracy’s possessions. And their mother was far from pleased to find a large moving truck occupying her driveway, which she noted to Tracy!
Anna Asked Britt Some Pointed Questions
Outside Anna’s office, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was on the phone with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), informing her that she would be late for work due to being “detained.”
When Anna arrived, they went into the office, where she presented Britt with a bill for the resources the PCPD had used to investigate her alleged death.
In return for shredding the file, Anna demanded to know who helped Britt fake her death, what she was doing at the Five Poppies, and who was in charge of the operation.
Britt challenged Anna’s claim that the commissioner lacked evidence connecting the resort to activities in Port Charles and attempted to leave.
Then Anna clarified that she was the one who directed Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to the Five Poppies to save Britt, insisting that her intentions were to help, not harm.
Anna Brought Up “The C Word”
Furious, Britt yelled that she didn’t require saving, sarcastically mentioning her work in a lab at the Five Poppies where she was creating an exfoliating scrub with peptides.
Frustrated, Anna added another charge to Britt’s bill for toxicology reports but she would settle for the name of Britt’s supervisor; Britt recalled the day she received vials of medicine from “C.”
Returning to the current discussion, Britt identified Pascal (Marc Forget) as her boss, but Anna was aware he was merely a middleman. Even with the commissioner insisting on the leader’s name, Britt chose to stay quiet.
Then, a concerned Anna mentioned Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), and when Britt averted her eyes, Anna inquired if he was still alive and managing the Five Poppies.

Britt Blew Up At Anna
In a fit of anger, Britt shouted that her father’s name had cast a shadow over her entire existence. And if that wasn’t bad enough, now she found herself in jeopardy of losing her job simply because Anna intended to inquire about a deceased individual.
As Britt abruptly ended the discussion, Anna cautioned her that remaining quiet would only expose her to further risks.
After forcefully closing Anna’s office door behind her as she exited, a troubled Britt let out a deep breath once she was finally by herself in the corridor. As for Anna, she remained frustrated that she couldn’t get Britt to trust her.

Jack Questioned Nathan
Jack extended an invitation to Nathan to come to the WSB office, where he pressed him for information. He wanted to know whether the supposedly resurrected detective had any connections to Faison’s criminal organization, which Jack was convinced was still active.
Nathan felt insulted when Jack suggested that he could receive immunity in exchange for any information he might possess.
With a sense of indignation, Nathan asserted that Faison was not a father figure to him, and angry, told Jack that Anna would confirm his willingness to assist if it were possible. He cautioned Brennan that he was not one to be bullied, and with that, Nathan stormed out in a huff.
Jack Showed Josslyn Footage Of His Questioning Nathan
Later on, Jack took the time to show Josslyn the footage captured by the security cameras, which featured his conversation with Nathan.
Although Josslyn didn’t believe that Nathan was involved with Faison in any way, she did mention the discussion she had with Anna regarding Faison at the Brown Dog just the night before.
Brennan felt that Anna was perhaps being overly cautious, but given her past experiences with Faison, he was reluctant to dismiss her worries.
“Two of Faison’s deceased children suddenly appear in Port Charles, alive and well, just as we are delving into Faison’s final project. This cannot be mere coincidence; everything is interconnected in some way,” Jack asserted.

Carly Meets With Valentin
With Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) assistance, Carly (in a brunette wig) accessed Steinmauer by impersonating Valentin’s lawyer, Barbara Saunders, and urged the guard to exit for a private chat with her client.
Valentin praised her fake credentials but questioned her drastic measures since Jack could have facilitated her entry.
Carly revealed that Jack, Sonny, and Jason were unaware of her trip to Switzerland to see him and asked if Valentin would help her take down Brennan.
When Valentin guessed that Jack had harmed one of her children, Carly shared that Josslyn had been recruited as a WSB agent. Valentin explained that some recruits are misled into wanting to join the agency during traumatic times.
Carly And Valentin Talked Some More About The Circumstances Of Josslyn’s Recruitment, And The Two Teamed Up
This prompted Carly to connect that Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) killer, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), vanished just as Josslyn left town. Carly was horrified when Valentin suggested that Josslyn, not Brennan, might be behind Renault’s disappearance.
He speculated that the WSB often uses personal grudges to test new recruits, and Brennan could have directed Josslyn towards Cyrus to see how far she’d go for revenge on Dex’s death.
“Are you saying the man I was falling for turned my daughter into a killer?” Carly exclaimed; furious that her boyfriend likely involved Josslyn in Cyrus’s demise.
Carly was more determined than ever to take Jack down- Valentin proposed they team up, telling Carly she was his weakness-the one thing that could bring Brennan down.
