'General Hospital' Recap October 20: Jack’s Lies Exposed, Willow Jailed & Michael’s Shocking ConfessionGeneral Hospital recaps for Monday, October 20 reveal Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) blew his chance to come clean, while Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was taken to Pentonville.

Also, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) denied framing her, and Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) argued at the tea party.

Carly Told Jack She Threw Out His Flowers

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) poured wine for herself and Jack. She made brief, tense conversation about his work and seemed surprised that he had brought Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) to visit Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). She told Jack she hoped he got what he wanted from the prisoner. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

When Jack noticed the flowers he had given her were missing, Carly claimed she had to throw them away because she broke the vase. She explained she tried to save them, but decided it was better to throw them out.

Carly Told Jack She Was Still Mad

Jack was relieved, fearing she was still mad at him about Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)  and Agent S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee). Carly admitted she was still upset and wasn’t sure if she could be with someone who was required to keep things from her. Jack wondered if she was breaking up with him and insisted he would do anything for her.

“Then how could you do it?” she cried, “How could you keep me in the dark about my daughter?”; he reminded her that they’d agreed that he couldn’t tell her everything. In response,  she lashed out, reminding him that this involved her daughter, who got pulled into his world, and he said nothing about it.

Jack Lied About Josslyn Never Being In Danger

Jack told her that Josslyn was never in any danger, but Carly still felt betrayed. Worried he might lose her, Jack listened as Carly asked him to promise that if Josslyn was ever at risk, he would tell her.

She kissed him, and he invited her to dinner, but she said she already had plans for a girls’ night with Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears).

Jack checked again if they were okay, and Carly reassured him, then he left. Carly let out a deep breath and later called Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to ask him to secretly create a new identity for her that would pass a serious background check.

Willow And Nina Arraigned Together

Before Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) and Willow’s arraignment, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight)  wanted to talk strategy with Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), but left, spotting Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) in the hallway.

In court, Martin and Willow were caught off guard when the judge started with Willow’s case, since they expected both cases to be heard together; Willow pleaded not guilty.

Molly asked the judge to deny bail, pointing to Willow’s unpredictable behavior in the past; Martin argued that Willow has strong ties to the community, especially her children.

He even noted that the victim was there to support her-despite this, the judge decided Willow might run and denied bail.

Drew became frustrated and pushed Martin to do something; Martin told Willow she needed an experienced criminal lawyer.

Willow Was Taken To Pentonville

Nina was called next; Molly told the judge they were changing Nina’s charge to making a false statement-Nina pleaded guilty and received a year of probation and a $10,000 fine.

Willow was upset, feeling that Nina had betrayed her, and Drew yelled at Nina, asking how she could do this to her own daughter.

The judge restored order, and Nina was clearly upset about having to take back her statement in front of everyone.

The judge let Nina go but ordered Willow to be sent to Pentonville. Willow angrily blamed Nina for making her lie and for the situation she was in-as Willow was led away, Drew promised to help her and gave Nina a hard look.

Dante Accused Michael Of Framing Willow

At the Quartermaines, when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna)  asked if he planted the gun to frame Willow, Michael dragged him out to the patio away from everyone else.

Dante broke down the timeline of how Michael had motive and opportunity to do it. But Michael insisted he didn’t plant the weapon and just went to Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst)  house because he wanted to talk to Willow about family therapy.

He also noted that if Dante thought he planted the gun, then he also thought he shot Drew. Dante pointed out that between him and Willow, Michael had the stronger motive.

Dante Wanted Michael To Turn Himself In

The detective wanted Michael to understand that he was the one with the history of violence and urged his brother to turn himself in.

But Michael reminded him that the last time he took that advice he was sentenced as an adult and sent to Pentonville.

This was when he killed Claudia Zacchara (Sarah Brown) defending his mother; Dante expressed his regret for his role in that nightmare.

Dante pointed out that Michael had seemed colder and angrier since coming back from Germany, and even suggested he might be capable of shooting his uncle.

Michael pushed back, listing all the things Willow had done, like going after Daisy Corinthos (Evelyn and Brenden Beimford) to hurt Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), but Dante said he had no evidence.

Michael Became Frustrated, Dante Defended Willow

Frustrated, Michael yelled about having to send his newborn daughter away for her safety. When Dante suggested bringing her home, Michael admitted there was no proof Willow was behind it, but still insisted she was an unfit mother.

Dante defended Willow and pointed out how good she was with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), but Michael said he regretted letting her adopt the boy.

Dante shook his head and declared this whole thing was a shame, and Michael noted Willow had changed as well, and had been on a downward spiral for a while now.

He said  “And if you don’t think the woman she is now is capable of putting a bullet in Drew’s back, then you are grossly underestimating her.”

Lucy Coe And Lulu Spencer Overheard Michael Wishing He’d Framed Willow

Back in the kitchen, Dante acknowledged that Michael would do anything for his kids, and Michael agreed, saying he would kill for them, just like Dante would.

Michael told Dante that if he had shot Drew, Drew would be dead. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Lulu Spencer  (Alexa Havins Bruening) overheard this from the doorway, both looking shocked.

Michael then admitted he wished he had framed Willow, because he would have made sure she was found guilty so his children would never have to see her again. The more she heard, the more Dante’s ex-wife Lulu looked worried.

Tea Party Niceties

At the Quartermaine tea party, Olivia  Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) introduced Ronnie to Lucy, who offered her a business card in case she ever wanted to sell the mansion.

Tracy watched with a glare, hoping the event would make Ronnie feel out of place. Olivia tried to cut off Lucy’s chatter by introducing Ronnie to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).

Tracy burst out laughing when Ronnie curtsied after hearing Felicia was once an Aztec Princess. Meanwhile, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) , running late due to morning sickness, met up with Liz outside the Quartermaines.

Portia Updated Liz About Her Pregnancy

She updated Liz that she hadn’t told Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner)  she was pregnant yet, and wouldn’t until she knew for sure he was the father.

They let themselves in, and Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) welcomed them. Tracy promised Stella she wasn’t going to make trouble, but Stella saw Portia and Jordan talking to Ronnie and noted that those two together could be drama.

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton)  interrupted Jordan and Portia’s sniping and offered to get the doctor some herbal tea.

Later, Tracy was annoyed to see Stella happily chatting with Ronnie; the women gossiped about Drew’s shooting, and Tracy declared she had no trouble believing Willow could be guilty.

Jordan Asked Portia If She Was Pregnant, Martin Crashed The Tea Party

Liz didn’t think this was an appropriate conversation, and Jordan noticed Portia declining a sandwich. She later spied Portia reluctantly accepting some finger food, taking a bite, and slipping off.

Confronting her in the front hall, Jordan noted Portia’s nausea and bluntly asked, “You’re pregnant, aren’t you?” After learning about the tea party from Lulu and expressing his glee at Tracy losing her mind over Ronnie the interloper, Martin hightailed it to the mansion, pretending to be returning Lulu’s phone.

Stella interrupted Lulu explaining she hadn’t lost her phone to invite them in to meet Ronnie; Martin awkwardly greeted Ms. Bard and apologized for crashing the party.

Ronnie And Tracy Argued In Front Of The Guests

Later, the attorney said his goodbyes and Stella escorted him out as Ronnie looked uncomfortable and walked back over to the teacup she had previously set down to take a sip.

Soon, Ronnie started acting tipsy, and Olivia suggested she go upstairs to rest; Ronnie refused, saying the party was just getting started. Tracy was shocked when Ronnie lounged on the couch, kicked off her shoes, and put her feet on the coffee table.

Tracy accused her of being drunk, but Ronnie said she was just relaxed-she stood up, got close to Tracy, and said, “You are uptight, frigid, and completely undersexed. You should go out and find yourself some debauched degenerate guy who will take care of that for you!” as everyone stared in shock, and Ronnie collapsed back onto the couch, laughing.
