General Hospital fans experienced a shift when actress Emme Rylan took over the role from Julie Marie Berman; Julie Berman had been a beloved figure in her portrayal of Lulu Spencer.
However, in 2013, Rylan stepped in and captured the hearts of General Hospital viewers as the cherished Lulu; for seven years, Emme Rylan excelled in the role of Lulu Spencer.

Additionally, she mentioned that she sent a before-and-after picture to her daughter, Dakota, showing how hair and makeup transformed her into her character.
