Fire Country spoilers reveal that a great deal happened on episode one which covered over two months since Vince Leone’s (Billy Burke) death.
This included the introduction of Shawn Hatosy was Brett Richards. Hatosy recently won an Emmy for his role as Dr. Jack Abbot on The Pitt, who has just been named battalion chief of Station 42, Vince’s replacement.
Station 42 Gets A New Battalion Chief
After two months without a battalion chief, Luke Leone (Michael Trucco) has gone over Sharon Leone’s (Diane Farr) head and asked for a battalion chief since Sharon has no been able to handle being at the station.
Brett is not Vince and has his own way of doing things that are certainly going to cause problems.
Let’s go ahead and check out the Fire Country Season 4 episode 2 synopsis to see what is going on in the upcoming episode:
““Not a Stray” – Station 42 faces a high-stakes wildfire situation that tests their unity, leadership and personal resilience. The new battalion chief (Shawn Hatosy) is on site, but he has a polarizing leadership style that gets under everyone’s skin, on FIRE COUNTRY, Friday, Oct. 24 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.”
Everyone at Station 42 is accustomed to Vince’s way of doing thing and are certain to clash with Hatosy’s character, especially with Bode. Bode and Jake Crawford (Jordan Calloway) are at odd because Jake refused to allow Bode to help try to find his father. Jake also blames him for Vince’s death. Bode and Sharon are likely the ones to have the worst time with this change.
Bode Leone Has Lost Part Of His Support
Gabrella Perez (Stephanie Arcilla) has been there for Bode since Vince’s death. Sharon has major issues with Brett as well.
Seeing someone try to fill Vince’s shoes is going to be very difficult for both of them. However, Bode is a probe and this could affect his career. Can Bode work under this new Chief?
With Audrey James (Leven Ramblin) waiting to see if she will be charged with attempted murder of Finn, she my not be back at all. Can Bode get through this on his own?
Will Manny Perez (Kevin Alejandro) be there to help keep Body under control when he comes close to losing it with his new boss? Will Bode ever get to move up to his father’s job so he can continue his father’s legacy as he promised?
