SALEM’S MESSIEST WEEK YET: CONFRONTATIONS, CONSPIRACIES, AND ONE VERY MISSING TEENAGER
TL;DR: DAYS spoilers for October 20-24 promise absolute CHAOS as Sarah comes for EJ about his shady dealings, Steve and Brady hunt for runaway Sophia, and Leo and Javi panic about losing baby Tesoro. Meanwhile, Xander‘s hiding something BIG, Rachel‘s memories are concerning Marlena, and Ari and Holly face consequences for that whole “dorm fire” situation. Just another week in Salem, where literally nobody can stay out of trouble!
Monday Madness
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) has clearly had ENOUGH of EJ DiMera‘s (Dan Feuerriegel) nonsense and she’s coming for him with receipts. What did EJ do this time? Knowing EJ, literally anything is possible. The man schemes before his morning coffee, so Sarah confronting him is going to be GLORIOUS.
Meanwhile, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) are tracking down runaway Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). Which would be reassuring except Sophia‘s proven herself to be surprisingly good at causing chaos. Where did this teenager DISAPPEAR to, and does she have baby Tesoro on her mind? Leo and Javi are probably having heart palpitations thinking about it!
Tuesday Turmoil
Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) thinks Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) is up to something, which is HILARIOUS considering Xander‘s own sketchy history. This is peak “it takes one to know one” energy. What’s Philip plotting that’s got Xander‘s spidey senses tingling? These two circling each other is going to be entertaining!
After getting confronted by Sarah, EJ‘s now attempting to sweet-talk Belle Black (Martha Madison). This man is WORKING overtime to manipulate every lawyer in Salem! Does he need legal representation or is this about something shadier? (Spoiler: it’s ALWAYS shadier with EJ.) Belle better watch out because EJ‘s charm offensive is legendary!
Wednesday Whirlwind
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) gets CAUGHT by Rita doing something he definitely shouldn’t be doing. Given Leo‘s track record of schemes, gossip, and general chaos, this could be literally ANYTHING. Is this about Tesoro? His Anastasia Sands exposé? His martini budget getting out of control? Whatever it is, Leo being busted is never boring!
Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) is bonding with Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) in his capacity as substitute teacher, which would be sweet if Jeremy wasn’t also actively stalking his ex-girlfriend Stephanie. Can this man focus on ANYTHING besides inserting himself back into Stephanie‘s life? Maybe concentrate on your actual JOB, Jeremy!
Thursday Throwdown
Sarah is apparently Salem’s designated truth-teller this week because after confronting EJ, she’s now delivering some hard realities to Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) about her daughter Sophia‘s behavior. Someone needs to tell Amy that Sophia isn’t the innocent victim she thinks she is! Sarah‘s not pulling punches, and honestly? Good for her!
Wait, what does Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) remember that has Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) CONCERNED? This sounds ominous! Did Rachel witness something? Remember something traumatic? In Salem, children’s memories are NEVER about innocent things like birthday parties! Days spoilers make this feel like it’s setting up something BIG!
Friday Finale
Sarah‘s on an absolute RAMPAGE this week and we’re HERE FOR IT! After confronting EJ and truth-bombing Amy, she’s now forcing Xander to confess whatever he’s been hiding. And if Xander‘s hiding something from his WIFE, it must be MAJOR. This man has literally been to prison—what could be worse than his usual chaos?
Oh THIS is going to be deliciously AWKWARD! Leo and Javi (Al Calderon)—who are desperately trying to keep custody of baby Tesoro—are running into Amy, whose daughter Sophia is Tesoro‘s biological mother. The TENSION! The DRAMA! Someone better have popcorn ready because this confrontation is going to be EXPLOSIVE!
DAYS Spoilers: What Else to Watch For
Throughout the week, Johnny and Chanel are dealing with their fears (probably about losing Tesoro), Gabi and Theoare working things out (about what, who knows), and Stephanie and Alex are trying to navigate their past while planning their future. Good luck with THAT while Jeremy‘s lurking around Salem!
Also Ari and Holly are finally facing consequences for that dorm fire. FINALLY! These two have been playing amateur detective and causing property damage with zero accountability. Time to face the music, ladies!
