Let’s talk about the most UNHINGED spoiler of the week: EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) are having a conversation about their mutual ex, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Three men. One Sami. Decades of combined trauma. This is going to be SPECTACULAR.
Think about what these three have in common: they’ve all been married to Sami Brady, they’ve all been cheated on by Sami, they’ve all been lied to by Sami, and they’ve all somehow kept coming back for more. EJ literally assaulted her and she STILL married him multiple times. Rafe was supposed to be her stable choice and she cheated on him with EJ. Why Are EJ Rafe And Lucas Talking About Sami NOW On Days of Our Lives
Here’s what makes this timing so interesting: Sami is currently engaged to Dante Vitali after only TWO months of dating. EJ is clearly jealous (he always is when Sami moves on), and both Rafe and Lucas have opinions about their sister/ex/friend rushing into another marriage.
According to Days of Our Lives updates, this conversation is probably equal parts warning each other about Sami’s patterns and reminiscing about the chaos she brought into their lives. Are they bonding over shared trauma? Plotting an intervention? Or just commiserating about the fact that they all fell for the same hurricane of a woman?
The irony is THICK here. EJ is a literal criminal who’s done horrific things to Sami. Rafe was the “good guy” who got steamrolled. Lucas has loved her since they were teenagers and keeps getting his heart broken. And somehow, they’re all still orbiting around her like she’s the sun.
Chad DiMera Vents To Gabi Hernandez About His Own Mess
While three of Sami’s exes are having their summit, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is venting to Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). These two have become unlikely friends, bonded by their mutual hatred of certain people and their shared DiMera drama.
What’s Chad venting about? Probably the fact that his life is in shambles. His brother EJ is a monster, his family legacy is tainted, and he’s still dealing with the aftermath of Abigail’s death and the fake Abigail situation. Gabi’s actually a GREAT person to vent to because she doesn’t sugarcoat anything.
Plus, Gabi understands DiMera family dysfunction better than almost anyone. She was married to Stefan, had a one-night stand with EJ, and has been caught in that family’s web for years. If anyone can give Chad real talk about his situation, it’s her.
Xander Kiriakis Questions Brady Black And Theo Carver Takes Jada Hunter On A Date
Tuesday also brings us Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) questioning each other. These two have had their share of conflict, so whatever they’re interrogating each other about is probably SERIOUS. Are they suspicious of each other? Working together on something? Or just having a classic Salem confrontation?
On a lighter note, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) is taking Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) on a date! After everything Jada’s been through with the fake Rafe disaster, she deserves some romance. Theo’s a genuinely good guy, and Jada could use someone stable in her life.
And there are “unseen threats looming over Stephanie Johnson and Alex Kiriakis,” which sounds ominous. Whatever’s coming for them, they better watch their backs.
