Days of Our Lives: Will Arianna Horton Choose Theo Carver or His Former Bully Liam Selejko?

DAYS OF OUR LIVES LOVE TRIANGLE ALERT: WILL ARIANNA HORTON FALL FOR THEO CARVER’S FORMER BULLY LIAM SELEJKO?

TL;DR: Salem’s newest bad boy Liam Selejko has a dark history with Theo Carver—he bullied him mercilessly throughout high school. Now Liam is back in town being mentored by Theo’s father Abe Carver, and newly-aged Arianna Horton, who has a documented weakness for troubled guys, has been flirting with Theo. This love triangle is about to explode!

Talk about awkward timing!

Just as Theo Carver is finally moving on from his off-screen breakup with Claire Brady and getting cozy with newly-SORAS-ed Arianna Horton, his worst nightmare from high school has rolled back into Salem. And not just rolled back—Liam Selejko is being mentored by Theo’s own father in an adult literacy program at the community center.

The kicker? Liam isn’t exactly thrilled to be working with Abe Carver either, considering he spent years tormenting Abe’s son.

Who Is Liam Selejko and Why Should We Care?

Liam Selejko (played by soap royalty offspring Hank Northrop, son of Wayne Northrop and Lynn Herring) isn’t your typical Salem newcomer. He’s got a seriously troubled backstory that reads like a soap opera checklist: incarcerated parents who’ve been locked up most of his life, a recent arrest for grand theft auto, and—here’s the plot device—he somehow graduated from Salem High without ever learning to read or write.

His plea deal? Join an adult literacy program or face jail time.

But the REAL drama? Liam bullied Theo Carver “mercilessly” all through middle school and high school. We’re talking waiting by his locker, calling him names, pushing him around—the full nightmare treatment. Theo recently opened up about how brutal those years were, and it’s clear the wounds haven’t healed.

So naturally, the universe decided Liam’s literacy mentor should be Theo’s dad. Because Salem loves nothing more than forcing people into impossibly awkward situations!

Why Is Arianna Horton the Perfect Target for This Mess?

Here’s where things get REALLY interesting.

Arianna Horton—daughter of Gabi Hernandez and Will Horton—just got aged up from a kid to a young woman, and she’s already making waves. The show has made it crystal clear that Ari has a thing for bad boys. (Shocking, right? With Gabi as her mom and Sami Brady as her grandmother, she never stood a chance at healthy relationship patterns!)

Ari and Theo have already been flirting. They’ve had coffee dates. There’s chemistry there—the sweet, wholesome kind where the nice guy actually has a shot.

But enter Liam Selejko, stage left.

He’s got the troubled backstory. The dark eyes. The chip on his shoulder the size of Horton Square. Everything Ari’s family genes have programmed her to find irresistible. And if spoilers are any indication (and let’s be honest, they usually are), Ari is about to find herself torn between the good guy who treats her right and the bad boy who needs “saving.”

What’s Next for This Explosive Triangle?

Here’s where my soap senses start tingling.

Liam isn’t just going to disrupt Theo’s budding romance—he’s going to make it personal. Think about it: What better revenge on the guy whose dad is now playing savior than to steal his girlfriend? Theo already feels betrayed by Abe taking Liam under his wing. Watching Ari fall for his former bully would be the ultimate twist of the knife.

And Ari? She’s going to convince herself she can “fix” Liam. That’s what women in this family DO. They see a broken man and think their love can heal him. (Spoiler alert: it rarely works out well!)

Don’t be surprised if we see Ari defending Liam to Theo, insisting there’s more to him than his past. Or if Liam plays up his troubled backstory to gain her sympathy while secretly enjoying the fact that he’s hurting Theo all over again.

Actor Hank Northrop has teased that Liam has a “transformation” coming and asked fans for patience. But transformation doesn’t happen overnight in Salem—it usually requires about six months of chaos, betrayal, and broken hearts first.

This triangle has disaster written all over it. And honestly? I’m here for the drama.

Will Ari choose the sweet guy or the street kid? Will Theo forgive his father for championing his tormentor? And can Liam actually change, or is this just another cycle of the same old destructive patterns?

Grab your popcorn, soap fans. This one’s going to be messy.
