Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal the DNA test comparing Tesoro Choi-Black’s (uncredited infant) DNA to Tate Black’s (Leo Howard) came back not a match.
But Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is still suspicious-might he decide to sneak Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) DNA to do a second test comparing it to Tesoro’s?
It Might Take Some Convincing Kayla Johnson To Run Another Test
Granted, it might take some convincing Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) to run another test-especially when the DNA in question is collected without Sophia’s knowledge.
He may even ask Tate to collect the DNA, since he works with Sophia at the pub-or he may ask for Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) help.
Roman’s law enforcement experience will be an asset, since he can obtain something Sophia has used that would bear her DNA to be tested.
It’s possible if Kayla won’t use hospital facilities to retest Tesoro’s DNA against Sophia, Brady could go to Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) to go the ISA route. All they need is a glass Sophia has drunk from, or possibly a hair from a hairbrush or hairnet.
There Are Too Many Unanswered Questions And Discrepancies
There are too many unanswered questions and discrepancies surrounding Sophia’s claim that she had the baby and gave it directly to the adoptive parents, claiming she gave birth to a girl.
Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) had made the point that her original ultrasounds had shown Sophia was pregnant with a baby boy, not a baby girl.
The timeline of the birth Sophia gave doesn’t even match her due date, but if she’s hiding the truth about her baby, then that’s to be expected.
Brady feels like there are enough discrepancies that there shouldn’t be a problem getting Kayla to run the DNA against that “sneaked” from Sophia. All she has to do is pull up the ultrasound records and she can see there’s something fishy in Sophia’s story!
Proof Received, Then Where Do They Go From There?
But once Brady gets the proof that Tesoro is Sophia’s baby but not Tate’s, where do they go from there-did Sophia know the baby wasn’t Tate’s all along?
Has she been trying to game him all along into a marriage she claims she doesn’t want? If Tate’s not the baby’s father, then, whose baby is Tesoro-and can Brady still investigate, considering he’s not his grandfather?
Those are all additional questions that will need to be answered, and lies that will need to be confronted. The next question is, once the proof is received, should it be shared with Amy Choi, (Shi Ne Nielson) the baby’s maternal grandmother?
