Coronation Street spoilers and updates for the week of October 27 tease Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) returns, Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) makes moves, and Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn) listens.
Plus, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) makes a discovery, Hope Dobbs (Isabella Flanagan) makes accusations, and Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) fumes.
Eva’s Return
Eva is about to return, and she has a joyful, blended family with her. This happens just as her half-sister, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), catches her ex, Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), proposing to her stepsister Toyah (Georgia Taylor)!
Outside the Rovers, Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) takes off Eva’s blindfold and shows her that he has bought the pub for her.
Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) sees her old rival and is shocked, hinting at a confrontation between them! A happy Eva expresses her gratitude to Ben for the wonderful surprise, and Leanne is excited to see her sister.
Leanne Walks In On Nick’s Marriage Proposal To Toyah
However, when Eva asks Leanne to get Toyah so they can all enjoy a drink and resolve things, Leanne enters the Bistro to find Nick on one knee, proposing to Toyah. How will Leanne respond, and will Toyah accept Nick’s proposal?
At the pub, Eva is with her daughter Susie Price (Aurora Bradshaw) and Ben’s son Ollie Driscoll (Raphael Akuwudike). Ben tells Ollie he has a business idea for him, just as Toyah bursts in to confront Leanne.
Eva tells everyone to leave, locks up the Rovers, and insists that it’s time for Leanne and Toyah to settle their issues once and for all; will they make peace?
Eva And Ben Celebrate
Later, Eva and Ben have a celebration, but Eva is shocked when Ben’s mother, Maggie, says she will be moving in.
While admiring the new sign on the door, Eva holds a staff meeting to discuss a Halloween party. Confusion arises when Maggie states that although Eva may be the landlady, she is still Eva’s boss.
Meanwhile, Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) informs Ollie that the charges against him have been dropped. Ollie then tells Ben that his car had a faulty MOT, which led to an accident.
Eva Catches Up With Adam, Confusion Ensues At The Halloween Party
After catching up with her ex, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson), Eva invites him to the party. But later on, she confuses Adam for Ben since they are both dressed as vampires and hugs him!
Ben finds it funny to see Adam rushing out, and Eva clarifies that Adam is her ex, assuring Ben he has no reason to feel jealous. However, as Maggie listens in and ponders how many more secrets Eva might have, could she be stirring up trouble for Eva and Ben?
Becky Makes Her Move
Meanwhile, Becky makes her move on ex-wife Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), even with Carla Connor (Alison King) back home.
Lisa tells Roy Cropper (David Neilson) that her feelings for Becky are history, and she’s eager to see Carla. But when Carla arrives and Becky casually mentions her overnight stay, Carla is shocked.
Later, Carla watches a video of Lisa and Becky showcasing Betsy’s (Sydney Martin) designs and decides to leave the Halloween party; Betsy fills Becky in on what Carla witnessed.
Becky’s prompted to devise a plan and head to the party; choosing the song from their first wedding dance, Becky reminds Lisa of their vows and how sincere she was.
Maggie Listens
Maggie lends an ear to Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey), who is visibly struggling while assisting Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell) with birthday plans for the quads. Gemma reveals her battle with depression and how she learned to manage her dark thoughts.
Asha expresses her gratitude, but once alone, she revisits her recent trauma, hearing Naomi Giles’ (Melissa Batchelor) voice echo in her mind-Maggie discovers Asha distressed and encourages her to open up.
Asha shares her suicide attempt and experiences as a paramedic, prompting Maggie to suggest that Asha has likely helped others in similar situations at work.
When Maggie advises Asha to extend the same kindness to herself, her words resonate deeply; has Asha made a breakthrough?
Debbie’s Discovery
Debbie uncovers another secret of her half-brother Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard). Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) overhears Ollie talking about the shady MOT and jumps in, revealing Carl as the mastermind-as Kevin and Carl confront each other, Eva kicks Kev out.
Carl goes to the garage and confronts Kev for embarrassing him, but later in the week, it’s Carl who gets thrown out of the pub by Ben!
James Bailey (Jason Callender) finds Carl and reassures him that he still cares, despite Carl’s recent actions-but when Debbie shows up, what has she overheard?
Kevin decides to reconcile with Debbie, while Carl manipulates the situation, using Debbie’s dementia to win Kevin back, claiming she’s deteriorating-what will Kevin do?
Hope’s Accusations
Hope Dobbs (Isabella Flanagan) believes Jake Windass (Bobby Bradshaw) is her online troll. Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) takes her for a Halloween makeover at the salon, but Hope soon gets another mean text.
Spotting Jake laughing at his phone, she accuses him of sending the messages and storms off; the following day, Hope confronts Jake, seizing his phone and smashing it. Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) come in to talk about the conflict.
Meanwhile, Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) is in the dark, as his wife Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) keeps him unaware to prevent more stress; so, is Hope correct about Jake?
Theo Fumes
Theo seethes when Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) brings up his financial struggles. Todd is taken aback by Theo’s reaction, and he opens up to Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), revealing that Theo is anxious about money.
Sarah recommends that Todd might consider selling the car and returning the cash to Theo, while George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) presents Theo with a list of household chores.
Although George believes he’s being helpful by providing Theo with work, Theo regards the list with disdain. With the situation between Theo and Todd poised to escalate further, will Todd ultimately be held responsible?
