Betsy’s Arrest Drama

Bethany is worried about Hope Dobbs’s (Isabella Flanagan) actions; meanwhile,  Carla Connor (Alison King) informs Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) that she has sold the Rovers to a man named Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker).

Although it seems Carla doesn’t know about Ben’s ties, we are aware that he is engaged to Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley). Eva will be managing the pub along with her fiancé and his mother, Maggie Price (Pauline McLynn), later this month.

In the meantime, Carla expresses her anxiety about traveling to Ireland because she doesn’t want to leave Lisa alone with Becky Swain (Amy Cudden), prompting Lisa to ask if Carla trusts her. Lisa reassures Carla of her love and her lack of interest in Becky.

Becky Plays Model For Betsy

While Carla is away, Betsy convinces Becky to model some of her designs for a college project, and as Becky walks around confidently, Lisa can’t help but smile and join in. When Betsy records them and shares it on her social media, Becky gets anxious that people might recognize her.

Later, Betsy stays out all night, and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) informs Lisa that her daughter has been arrested. While Betsy sits alone in a cell, feeling exhausted and bewildered, Lisa holds Becky responsible for her daughter’s struggles due to her sudden return.

Becky feels hurt, and as Betsy is questioned, she learns from DI Costello (Daon Broni) that she has damaged a police car, resisted arrest, and attempted to assault him.

Todd Worries About His Test Results

Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) is in an anxiety state about his bowel cancer test results. After informing George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) that he wants to arrange his own funeral, George checks his emails and finds out about Todd’s hospital appointment.

Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) urges George to be there for Todd, and Todd appreciates having him as he goes to see the doctor.

At the Bistro, Theo and Gary Windass (Mikey North) meet with Pete (Andrew Hayden-Smith) to talk about a possible contract. When Theo sees Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank), he expresses concern that Todd isn’t being honest with him, making Billy uncomfortable.

Did Theo Cheat On Todd In His Hour Of Greatest Need?

Later, Billy rushes outside to take a call from Todd, while Theo hides his anger and orders shots.

The following day, Todd deals with a hangover and returns home to confront Theo’s anger, apologizing for staying at Billy’s while claiming nothing happened. However, when Pete comes out of the bathroom, Todd is shaken; did Theo cheat?

Theo shows no remorse as he accuses Todd of being unfaithful, and Todd shares his health scare. But when Theo tries to turn the blame on Todd, Todd loses his temper and tells him to pack his things.

Bethany Tasked With Supervising Hope

Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) offers Bethany some shifts at the salon to do nails. When Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) receives a call from David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) saying he’s stuck in a lift and won’t make it to the baby scan, Bethany comes up with an idea – will it succeed?

As the week goes on, Bethany is tasked with overseeing Hope, who is on work experience. A client shows them some ‘miracle pills’ that claim to promote strong hair, nails, and weight loss, which impresses Hope.

Bethany’s Catastrophe

However, Bethany cautions that these companies are only interested in making money and disregard people’s health, citing her own weight loss surgery as an example.

As the client departs, she realizes her pills are gone, and Bethany accuses Hope, demanding that she empty her bag. When Hope refuses, Bethany attempts to snatch her bag, causing Bethany’s stoma bag to burst!

Last year, Bethany had to have a permanent stoma fitted due to complications from the surgery mentioned earlier. One year later, how will she handle what unfolds in the salon?

Cassie Plummer’s Neglectful

Cassie stops helping Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall), who has spinal injuries, with his exercises to hang out with Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).

Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford)  is angry to discover that they have consumed Ken Barlow’s (William Roache) last bottle of wine from his first wedding to Deirdre Barlow (Anne Kirkbride).

Meanwhile, Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) goes into town instead of returning home, and Cassie comes back to find Tyrone in pain after falling out of his wheelchair.

After this, Cassie feels hurt when Fiz ignores her, but then she finds out that Fiz lied about working and has the week off to care for Ty.

Tracy gets an idea after hearing Tyrone talk to Fiz about her favorite band and gives Cassie tickets for a concert and encourages her to use them to win back Fiz’s favor.

Kevin Sabotages Abi?

Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) is approached by Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) about taking care of Alfie Franklin (Carter & Oakley Razak Townsend).

However, when he arrives to pick him up in a frustrated and upset state, Abi decides against it and tells Kev he can see Alfie another time. Kevin is overwhelmed with emotion and starts to cry.

Things get worse when Abi receives a call from a competing garage, finding out she didn’t get the job. She storms into the house and blames Kev for ruining her chances, but did he really?

Bernie Is Protective, Tim Shuts Past Abuse Talk Down

Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) comes back home from the hospital after attempting suicide, and when she snaps at Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin), it shows that her struggles are still very real.

Asha understands that she has crossed a line and apologizes, claiming she will manage on her own; as Asha curls up on the couch and shuts out the world, Dev shares his concerns with Bernie.

Bernie thinks someone should talk to Naomi (Melissa Batchelor) before she drives anyone else to the edge, but how will they confront the woman who insulted Asha, and can she start to heal?

Elsewhere,  Tim tells his wife Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) that he won’t be meeting Trisha Pinkerton (Anita Booth) again and that the topic is closed. However, with recent events revealing Trisha as an abuser who groomed Tim when he was a minor, can Tim truly move on from this?
