The tides seem to be turning as Buckingham Palace prepares to counter the narrative set by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. This move may mark a very difficult period for Meghan Markle and her new communications team. Read on to find out more about what’s going on.

The Recent Visit To The UK

Royal commentator Neil Sean shared his view on his Daily Headline News vlog on Monday. Sean believes that the “ill-advised Prince Harry” presents a big problem. For instance, following his brief meeting with King Charles, Harry claimed he had “a clear conscience.” However, his attitude ignores his own previous remark that “some people might not speak to him.”

Given strained relationships, Sean suggested that “some people” realistically means “all people” distanced themselves. Now, palace staff, particularly long-serving members, “have had enough.” It seems that a line has been drawn by Buckingham Palace after an interview “with The Guardian.”

The royal family expert reminded viewers that the Duke of Sussex recently returned to the United Kingdom, achieving a meeting of “50 minutes plus with his father, a man who he hasn’t seen for 18 months.” Upon leaving, Harry indicated that the King was “great and things were going incredibly well.”

The Interviews Backfire

However, less than twenty-four hours later, a new interview surfaced in The Guardian newspaper. Sean noted the irony, pointing out the publication is “very much not with the monarchy” and only adopts a pro-royal stance when it’s “good for sales.”

A much bigger issue arose when Harry talked about “the men in gray suits.” Sean suggested that Harry’s own wife is “his own big paparazzi shot.”

Sean pointed out that detailed information keeps appearing in tabloids, which he explains is the “sort of thing… we all enjoy looking at if you’re standing in the supermarket.” The content suggested “conversations” with his wife are the source.

The Duchess of Sussex made her own provocative statements, for example, saying “Harry lost his father, too.” Sean, however, refuted the claim, noting that the Duchess “decided to dump [her dad]” before Harry “followed suit.”

Palace Hits Back

According to sources, Buckingham Palace is now “hitting back.” And, that might explain why Harry issued a statement blaming the media and palace insiders for “jeopardizing his comeback.”

The statement followed a recent PR stint in which Harry received “good to fair middle” coverage, partly because outlets like the Telegraph and the Mail offered “favorable coverage.” At the same time, the royal commentator noted that negative reporting arrived about the “far harder working… Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Catherine.”

Despite Harry’s attempts to “have his say,” the palace now takes a “totally different tack.” According to a “very well-placed source inside Buckingham Palace,” the strategy changed: “if Harry and Meghan decide to put out ill truths, then they’re going to correct them.”

Naturally, a move like that might prove challenging for the Sussex coupe’s new communications team.

Reactions In The Comments

In the discussion area of the vlog, many royal family fans chimed in with their opinions. One of them wrote, “Finally the royal family has had enough of Rachel Markle and Harry like the rest of the world…”
