LESLIE THOMAS IS MORE CONVINCED THAN EVER THAT SHE’LL GET HER HAPPY ENDING—THE DELUSION IS STRONG!

TL;DR: Beyond the Gates spoilers for Wednesday, November 5 reveal Leslie Thomas is more convinced than ever that she, Eva Thomas and Ted Richardson will be a happy family. Leslie is DREAMING if she thinks Ted is going to leave Nicole Dupree Richardson and play house with her and Eva!

Leslie Thomas Is CONVINCED She’s Getting Her Happy Family With Ted Richardson And Eva Thomas

Beyond the Gates is giving us delusional Leslie on Wednesday! Leslie is more convinced than ever that she, Eva and Ted will be a happy family, and someone needs to have an intervention with this woman because she’s living in a FANTASY WORLD.

The Wednesday BTG spoilers say Leslie is “more convinced than ever,” which means Leslie’s delusion is actually GROWING. She’s not questioning whether this happy family scenario is realistic. She’s becoming MORE CERTAIN that it’s going to happen.

Let’s review reality, shall we? Ted is DIVORCED from Nicole. That doesn’t mean Ted is automatically jumping into Leslie’s arms. Ted has been reconnecting with Eva, yes. He asked Eva to call him “dad,” which was a big moment. But Ted building a relationship with his DAUGHTER doesn’t automatically mean Ted wants to be with Leslie romantically.

Leslie is seeing what she WANTS to see instead of what’s actually happening. Ted has been friendly with her. They’ve had some nice moments. They even hugged at the hospital. But Ted hasn’t said “Leslie, let’s get back together and be a family.” Ted hasn’t made any promises about their romantic future.

Yet Leslie is somehow “more convinced than ever” that they’re all going to be one big happy family. The math ain’t mathing, Leslie!

What Is Making Leslie Thomas SO Convinced This Happy Family Thing Is Happening?

The Wednesday Beyond the Gates spoilers don’t tell us what specifically is making Leslie MORE convinced about this happy family scenario. Did something happen? Did Ted say something? Did Eva say something? Or is Leslie just CREATING this narrative in her own head based on wishful thinking?

Maybe Ted did something nice for Leslie and she interpreted it as romantic interest. Maybe Eva expressed happiness about her parents getting along and Leslie took that as Eva wanting them back together. Maybe Leslie is just SO desperate for this happy ending that she’s convincing herself it’s inevitable regardless of evidence.

The problem with Leslie’s conviction is that it sets her up for MASSIVE disappointment. The more convinced Leslie becomes that she’s getting Ted and her happy family, the more devastating it’s going to be when reality hits.

And reality WILL hit. Because Ted still has feelings for Nicole. Because Nicole is about to make a move that catches Ted off guard (according to the OTHER Wednesday spoiler). Because Ted getting to know Eva as his daughter doesn’t automatically mean Ted wants to reconcile with Eva’s mother.

Someone Needs To Tell Leslie Thomas That Ted Richardson Doesn’t Want Her

Here’s what Leslie needs to understand: Ted being a good father to Eva doesn’t mean Ted wants to be Leslie’s partner.

Ted can love Eva. Ted can build a relationship with Eva. Ted can be present in Eva’s life. ALL of that can be true WITHOUT Ted getting back together with Leslie.

But Leslie has conflated these two separate things. In Leslie’s mind, Ted + Eva = Happy Family, which automatically includes Leslie in a romantic relationship with Ted. That’s not how any of this works!

Ted and Leslie have HISTORY. They were together decades ago. They created Eva together. But that was a LONG time ago. They’re different people now. Just because they share a daughter doesn’t mean they’re meant to be romantic partners.

The Wednesday Beyond the Gates spoilers say Leslie is “more convinced than ever,” which suggests nobody is talking sense into Leslie. Eva isn’t telling her mom to slow down. Ted isn’t setting boundaries with Leslie. Nobody is saying “Hey Leslie, maybe don’t start planning your wedding to Ted when he’s still processing his divorce from Nicole.”

So Leslie is just getting more and more invested in this fantasy. And when it inevitably falls apart, Leslie is going to be CRUSHED.

What Happens When Nicole Dupree Richardson Makes Her Move?

Here’s the thing that Leslie isn’t considering: Nicole is ALSO making moves on Wednesday!

The other Wednesday BTG spoiler reveals Nicole makes a move that will definitely catch Ted off guard. So while Leslie is over here becoming “more convinced than ever” that she’s getting Ted, Nicole is actively DOING SOMETHING that involves Ted.

What if Nicole’s move is telling Ted she wants him back? What if Nicole is making it clear to Ted that she still has feelings for him and wants to work on their marriage? That would throw a MAJOR wrench into Leslie’s happy family fantasy.

Leslie is so focused on her own dreams and desires that she’s not paying attention to what’s actually happening around her. Ted is still connected to Nicole. Nicole still has feelings for Ted. Nicole saw Ted and Leslie hugging at the hospital, which might be exactly what prompted Nicole to make her move.

Leslie is living in her own little bubble, convincing herself that her happy ending is inevitable. But she’s about to get a rude awakening when she realizes she’s not the only woman in Ted’s life.

BTG Spoilers Wednesday’s Bottom Line

Wednesday’s Beyond the Gates spoilers reveal Leslie Thomas is more convinced than ever that she, Eva Thomas and Ted Richardson will be a happy family. Leslie is living in a fantasy world and someone needs to bring her back to reality before she gets her heart broken!
