Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday, October 9, hint that Vanessa will confess something to her son, Donnell Turner (Alex Cheeks), and it’s about Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).
It sounds like Vanessa will admit to a romance with Joey, and while the young man seems to like the casino owner, how will he feel about his mom having a relationship with someone else, right before his dad, Doug McBride’s (Jason Graham) passing?

Anita Dupree’s Words Of Wisdom
Across town, Anita will provide some advice to Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) and Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon).
Both are dealing with their marriages falling apart, although there is a slight glimmer of hope where Martin and Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) are concerned.
What will Anita advise, and can she help with at least one romantic reunion in Fairmont Crest? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
Hayley Hamilton vs. Dani Dupree
Beyond the Gates spoilers for Thursday suggest that Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) and Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) will go clash. Added teasers note that tensions will rise between the two women, and it sounds like their fight will center on Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett).
Hayley wants Dani to stay away from her hubby, but it sounds like Bill can’t get his mind off Dani … or that kiss they shared last week! How ugly will things get between Wifey #1 and Wifey #2?

Meanwhile, as the ladies go at it, Bill and Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) will face off, as well. Dani’s marriage to the freelance photographer rubbed Bill the wrong way.
Not to mention the fact that she sang Andre’s praises last week, which triggered her ex-husband’s jealousy! Here’s hoping it’s just a war of words and not fists when all is said and done!
