Beyond the Gates spoilers for Monday, October 20, note that Vernon will hide secrets from Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie).
This sounds like the opposite of what their marriage was built on, so could this possibly be a fun surprise he’s keeping from her, or does this dig a whole lot deeper?

Dani Dupree Gets Lectured
Meanwhile, both Anita and Vernon will give Dani and Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) a lecture.
Nothing like two adults getting talked down to by their parents/in-laws, so will Andre and Dani simply listen, or will they throw in some attitude? Both Dani and Andre respect Anita and Vernon, so it’s unlikely this will happen, but they may get annoyed.
Across town, Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) will be thrown for a loop by a romantic gesture. Will this come from Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley) or possibly Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson)? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

Eva Thomas’s Epiphany
