Beyond the Gates fans REALLY want what is happening in Fairmont Crest to make sense. Why are Dr. Nicole’s employees, Mona and Laura, MIA? Also, doesn’t anyone knock in this neighborhood, let alone lock their doors to start with?
As Vernon Dupree would say, what in the Blue Blazes is going on?
Mona, Mona, & More Mona… Beyond the Gates Fans Want More Mona
It’s like Mona Wilson (Karan Kendrick) doesn’t even exist anymore on Beyond the Gates. Mona takes care of Dr. Nicole Richardson’s (Daphnee Duplaix) home. Even though Ted Richardson (Keith Robinson) has been kicked out and into a hotel, Nicole still has the house, and she has needs. Ted stopped by to spray a little Febreze, but that isn’t enough… Although in Ted’s mind, he thinks it’s a step to get Nicole to cancel the divorce papers he’s been served. If anyone needs Febreze at this point, it’s going to be Ted Richardson after sharing a bed with Looney Leslie/Dana Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) in his hotel suite, but Mona isn’t going to be touching that either.
Mona has Nicole and her children’s backs. The way she told of who she thought was her friend, Leslie Thomas, was a delight. Um, something about there’s a special place in hell for someone like you, enjoy the burn…
So, where has Mona been? We see her gal pal, Jan Morgan (Jerri Tubbs), but not the two of them together. Beyond the Gates fans just see Jan with her boring daughter, Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob), dealing with her bipolar feelings for Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin).
Can we PLEASE get Mona’s two cents on what she thinks about Ashley flip-flopping between Derek and Dani Dupree’s (Karla Mosley) often-times afternoon delight, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman)?…and don’t even get Mona started when she learns about Leslie’s sleepover with her so-called teddy bear, Ted Richardson.
Dr. Nicole’s Assistant, Laura Peterson, Also MIA on BTG
Also, where is Dr. Nicole’s sweet assistant, Laura Peterson (Destiny Love)? Laura finally recovered after Leslie Thomas tried to kill her twice and got back to work. She got back to work SO much that she even asked Leslie’sdaughter, turning out to be Leslie Jr., Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle), for help. Laura gathered that Nicole and Evahad bonded and wanted to nurture that. How sweet!!… but where is Laura now? Even if Nicole has taken a step back from work due to the sudden demise of her marriage to Ted Richardson, aren’t there things that need to be maintained? Aren’t patients still calling and trying to schedule appointments or asking for a referral to another doctor if Nicole is still out?
Pretty sure Beyond the Gates fans would be open to seeing more of Laura at Garland Memorial Hospital and a little less of Ashley.
Duprees on Lock Down, Needs to Happen ASAP!!
For the love of everything in Fairmont Crest, can any of the Duprees start locking their damn doors? Leslie Thomaswalks into Anita and Vernon Dupree’s (Tamara Tunie and Clifton Davis) home all the time. It’s a good thing that each time Anita and Vernon happen to be in their living room… Otherwise… What?!?
Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) isn’t a Dupree, but he was married to one for long enough. Now he’s living in another home in Fairmont Crest with his Child-Bride, Fayley-Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings), and they don’t lock their door. How many times has Bill’s ex, Dani Dupree, already walked in without notice?
Then, what about Nicole’s home? Like the Dupree main house, Leslie walks in whenever she wants. Seriously, where the hell is Mona? She would not be having any of this on Beyond the Gates.
