Beyond the Gates spoilers note that fans are eagerly awaiting the much-anticipated debut of soap vet, Greg Vaughan.
The actor recently revealed that his first airdate is slated for December; however, this doesn’t mean he’s not currently having fun on the set, and a behind-the-scenes video uploaded to social media proves this. Still, he got into a little bit of trouble while asking some storyline questions.
Daphnee Duplaix shares A Fun BTS Video
BTG co-star, Daphnee Duplaix, who plays Nicole Richardson, recently posted a BTS video of Colby Muhammad (Katherine “Kat” Richardson) in the make-up chair, as some cast and crew were talking about her storyline.
Vaughan was behind Colby, talking to someone, while the chitter-chatter of Kat’s live was going on. Duplaix was holding the camera.
The caption wrote, “ When the new kid on the block @thegreg_vaughan asks @colbynatasha about her story line. Opinions go flying!”
She added, “Might I add, we take our stories real seriously over here lol #BehindTheScenes of

Greg Vaughan In Trouble …
As the conversation continues on the video, Duplaix calls Vaughan out, who’s still chatting up a storm with fellow BTGer, Ambyr Michelle, who plays Kat’s rival and half-sister, Eva Thomas. Duplaix jokingly asks Vaughan, “How are you going to get out of a conversation that you started?”
Vaughan quickly defends himself, laughing and saying, “I didn’t start anything!” He quickly grabs the popcorn that Colby was eating in her chair and pretends to dig in, as he notes, “Oh, the drama!”
As of this writing, there is no exact airdate for Vaughan’s debut. There’s also no name to the character he is playing, and no information has been provided surrounding the storyline he’ll be entering or any scene partners. Could Daphnee’s video offer a hint?
Could Greg be playing a love interest for Nicole? Why else would Vaughan need a debrief of Eva and Kat’s history?
