B&B Spoilers Oct 8: Li FINALLY Admits Helping a Killer Was a Bad Idea—Congrats on That Realization Genius

LI CONFESSES HER MISTAKES WHILE LUNA GETS AWAY WITH MURDER LITERALLY

TL;DR: Wednesday B&B spoilers deliver peak absurdity as Luna explains to Finn why she’s living at Bill‘s mansion instead of jail (we’d LOVE to hear this justification), Li has an emotional meeting with Ridge to confess the error of her ways like helping a murderer wasn’t obviously wrong, and Deke worries about withholding information from Hopebecause secrets always work out great on soaps.

Luna Explains Her Mansion Living Situation

Luna (Lisa Yamada) explains to Finn (Tanner Novlan) why she’s living with Bill (Don Diamont) on Wednesday, and honestly, what possible explanation justifies a confirmed murderer getting the guest room treatment instead of a jail cell? B&B spoilers reveal that Luna is attempting to rationalize her current living situation to Finn, who’s probably standing there wondering how this became his life.

“So Finn, funny story—I faked my death, manipulated multiple people, and may have killed some folks, but Bill thinks I deserve a second chance at his luxury estate!” Is that how this conversation goes? Because there’s NO reasonable explanation for why Luna isn’t in custody.

The audacity of Luna having to “explain” why she’s living at Bill‘s place like it’s a normal housing situation is WILD. Most people who commit crimes go to prison. Luna apparently goes to the Spencer mansion with pool access and probably gourmet meals. Make it make sense.

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show that whatever explanation Luna offers Finn, it’s going to require Olympic-level mental gymnastics to sound remotely reasonable. Finn, blink twice if you need help escaping this conversation.

Li’s Emotional Confession Tour

Li (Naomi Matsuda) has an emotional meeting with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to express “the error of her ways” on Wednesday, and yeah, Li, helping a psychopath fake her death and hide from consequences was definitely an error. Understatement of the century.

B&B spoilers reveal this is an emotional meeting, which means Li is finally processing the CATASTROPHIC choices she made. She risked her medical license, her reputation, her relationships, and her freedom to help Luna—a woman who has proven herself to be dangerous and manipulative. The error of her ways? More like the DISASTER of her ways.

Ridge listening to Li confess her mistakes is interesting casting because Ridge has made approximately one million questionable decisions in his life, so he’s probably the least judgmental person she could talk to. “You helped a murderer fake her death? Yeah, I’ve made worse choices on a Tuesday.”

The fact that this is described as an “emotional meeting” suggests Li is genuinely remorseful and struggling with the consequences of her actions. Good. She SHOULD struggle. She helped enable Luna‘s chaos and now has to live with those choices.

Deke’s Secret-Keeping Concerns

Deke (Harrison Cone) is concerned about how long he can withhold information from Hope (Annika Noelle) on Wednesday, which raises the obvious question: WHY are you withholding information in the first place, Deke?

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest that Deke is sitting on some kind of secret that Hope needs to know, and he’s getting anxious about keeping it from her. Sir, this is a soap opera. Secrets ALWAYS come out at the worst possible moment. Just tell her now and avoid the inevitable dramatic explosion.

The fact that Deke is “concerned” about the timeline suggests either:

Whatever Deke‘s hiding, B&B spoilers show it’s weighing on him enough that he’s questioning his choices. Maybe just… tell her? Revolutionary concept, we know, but it beats the alternative of Hope finding out from someone else and never trusting you again.

B&B Spoilers Reality Check

Wednesday’s B&B spoilers perfectly capture the show’s current energy: murderers explaining why they deserve mansion living, people confessing obvious mistakes like they weren’t obvious at the time, and characters withholding information while worrying about withholding information.

Luna‘s explanation for why she’s at Bill‘s instead of behind bars is going to require suspension of disbelief that even soap opera fans might struggle with. Li‘s emotional confession to Ridge about helping said murderer is long overdue. And Deke‘s concern about keeping secrets from Hope could be solved by just NOT keeping secrets from Hope.

But this is The Bold and the Beautiful, where logic takes a backseat to drama and consequences are optional for certain characters.
