Alaskan Bush People fans love Bear Brown, and they worry about him, especially since he and his wife, Raiven, separated again. This week, some fans became frantically worried about the former Discovery Channel star after he shared a cryptic post. Read on for all the details.
The Alarming Post
Bear often pranks his fans around April Fools’ Day. But it’s not April Fools’ right now. So, his rather cryptic comment got a lot of ABP fans extremely concerned about him. On Tuesday, he shared a photo of himself in a dark-looking space.

In his Instagram caption, he only said one word: “Goodbye.” Of course, with no other context given, many fans feared he might try to harm himself. Notably, he doesn’t spend all his time with his three boys these days. So, maybe he misses them so much, he can’t bear to be without them.
Fans React With Deep Worry
In the comments section, despite a lot of people asking Bear Brown to let them know he is okay, no replies arrived yet. Clearly, it would be nice if he responded to his many followers.
One Alaskan Bush People fan wrote, “Are you okay? We definitely need some context? Because it reads like someone should do a welfare check on you.”
Here are other deeply worried responses in the discussion area:
What Came Before The Cryptic Post?
Looking back through the posts by Bear Brown, the day before the “Goodbye,” he seemed excited. He’d just told his followers:
Check out my compilation episode, combining all of my episodes into an hour long episode. Showcasing my return to Alaska, also with gabe, Bam, Noah. Link in bio.
Well, the video is up, and although Bear looked rough, he seemed tired rather than depressed.
Known For Odd Messages
Hopefully, fans of the Discovery star won’t hear bad news. Unfortunately, sometimes Bear pretends things are bad. Or, he puts out stories that make people talk about him. One time, for example, he said that his mom, Ami Brown, had “gone.” In fact, with context, she’d been in a hospital and had gone home. But for a while, some folks feared his mom had passed away.
It’s entirely possible that Bear simply meant in his latest post that he was going away, either to Alaska or back home to Washington. So, it doesn’t necessarily mean he said goodbye to a cruel world.
