General Hospital Spoilers: Britt And Nathan Were Resurrected Because They’re Irreplaceable — To Faison?General Hospital spoilers report fans have a new theory about how Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) survived Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) poisoned hook, and it centers on what her real purpose was supposed to be all along, at least, if you ask her father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

It’s possible that Faison was bent on ensuring his work continued even if his own life did not, but he may not have considered that his children also wouldn’t live to a ripe, old age.

However, if Faison survived, as many fans suspect, then he may have not only orchestrated Britt surviving that hook attack, but he might have orchestrated it happening in the first place. The next question is: Why? The truth about her brother, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) may shed light on it.

Faison Needed Supreme Control

Faison was always looking for ways to stick it to the person who disagreed with him or tried to lock him up. His research was the greatest love affair of his life — at least, the most consensual one.

Carrying out his cold fusion project wasn’t going to be easy with all eyes on him and the authorities chasing him down. But installing proxies — namely, his children — to do that work for him was a piece of cake in his world.

He just had to make sure he gained control over their lives. What better way to do that than to take them away?

GH Spoilers Tease That Hook Wasn’t the Same

It’s possible that on the night of Britt’s “death,” Faison somehow managed to switch the poison on Heather’s hook. It’s also possible that she was somehow led to the altercation between Heather and Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), and that it was always the intent for Britt to be hooked.

If the poison substance was something that just caused a temporary comatose state or suppressed Britt’s heart rate and breathing — this is a soap, after all — then it might be possible that she was never in need of the antidote because she would bounce back on her own after a time, and following “dying” in Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) arms. We can see Faison wanting it that way.

Nathan Was Even Easier

Back in 2018, the story was that Faison didn’t mean to shoot his good son, Nathan. But that is what happened and ultimately Nathan succumbed to his injuries, or so we thought. Now, he’s apparently back from the “dead,” if you believe that’s him. It depends on who you ask.

If this is the real Nathan, we can only assume his resurrection also has to do with Faison wanting his work carried out.

If his children are the only way for his sinister project to continue, and he only trusted the minds of his own flesh and blood to be able to pull it off, it makes sense that he would take them out just to put them on ice in some fashion and bring them back later.

But are both of them prepared to actually see this cold fusion project through? That remains to be seen. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers right here, every day.
